The heart of Summer School β26 was simple: you are fully seen, completely known, and deeply loved by God (SKL).
A blessed week of being together, sharing food, sung worship, games, daily chosen streams to engage their gifts and skills and equip them to share these with others.
Throughout the week we looked at SKL through Psalm 139 and stories through scripture such as Hagar, Nathaneal, Jeremiah, Moses, the Samaritan woman, the prodigal son, and ultimately what Jesus did for us all through the cross; His sacrificial love for us.
God sees us, He knows everything about us, and we can find freedom in being known. We are so loved by God, He chose and loves us, and we are called to love others.
Each day Cell groups dived deeper into the daily theme and scripture with craft, games, discussion, reflection, prayer and action.
The daily question poised in Cell groups was: What do these stories show us about God, about God, people, and what does God want us to remember?
We shared sung worship inside and outside connecting to God.
Relationships with God began and were deepened, struggles were shared and prayers made to the God who sees, knows and loves us. βYou have searched me Lord and you know meβ (Psalm 139:1). God knows us all uniquely and we pray that as everyone continues their journey with God from Summer School, that they put the love they are reassured of into action to show Godβs love to others.
Our hearts are full of gratitude to God and thankful for an amazing team and young people that attended SKL 26!
