A believer must always watch and pray, so he wouldn't fall into temptations that could defile him. A believer must also deny the desires of self will at war against his spirit man.

The journey of salvation is a continuous pushing forth to conquer choices against the will of God in all areas of life. Our choices must be steadfast in obeying the commandments of God.

A believer is at war with the kingdom of darkness who are plotting every opportunity to deceive and destroy his precious free will into disobeying God.

A believer must fight to remain grounded in faith by repenting from desires working against the promises of God.

A believer must fight not to allow himself separate from the goodness of God by practicing virtues of righteousness and holiness.

A believer must conquer all inclinations of sin by loving God above everything else and remaining unshaven in his love for Christ.

A believer must not have any desire to practice evil on his neighbours but love and forgive others as God has loved him.

You see brethren, we should not loose our vigilance in fighting to redeem our souls by the grace of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

The easiest way to have God in your life helping and directing your path is to remain meek and humble.

The Lord God loves the man of great humility dearly and will always grant him grace. Humility is a virtue of immense importance for a serious spiritual growth because God does not despise the broken and contrite of heart.

It is also crucial to stay submitted to the will of God because the person that denies his own self will for God's will receives enormous grace and mercy from God.

Our Lord Jesus Christ admonished us to learn of Him because He is meek, humble and lowly of heart so we receive rest to our souls. Another place talks of Jesus who made Himself of no reputation humbling Himself in obedience towards God to the point death on the cross.

Humility is your gateway to a continuous flow of God's grace towards your life and a spring board of elevation in favour before the Lord. Remember, your level of humility determines your level of obedience.

Everyone in the world is seeking something and fulfillment. Human are natural seekers of things to improve their material life, spiritual life, happiness and general wellbeing.

But there is a kind of seeking that anyone intending to obey God is encouraged to set their affection after.the things above.

Likewise, there is a seeking that rewards eternal life and there is also a seeking that rewards eternal death. Whatsoever you intends to seek is where you are sowing and equally that is where you will reap.

If you seek the things of the flesh, you will treasure the works of the flesh. And if you seek the things of God's Spirit, you will treasure the fruits of the Spirit.

Therefore, decide the things you would love to make part of yourself and being. If it is the flesh, your are inviting hatred, lust, anger, filthy thoughts, unforgiveness and the list goes on.

And if it is the Spirit of God, you are inviting peace, love, kindness, joy, patience, goodness, faithfulness and the list goes on.

I think it is better to have joy rather than hatred, it is better to kindness rather than cruelty, it is better to have goodness rather than wickedness.

Let's all choose Jesus Christ because there is nothing better than to abide in the Spirit of God.

Everyone is thirsty for something whether it is material or spiritual. This continuous desire does not go away unless fulfilled. This brings us to the very important question, what kind of thirst have you chosen for your life and what is feeding that hunger in your soul?

Your choice of thirst determines what your mind pursues and your pursuits are exactly the burden of your soul. This also brings us to the next question, what kind of burden have placed on your soul?

The type of burden you decide to carry determines if your soul gets nourished or farmished, at peace or in turmoil, renewed or depressed, hopefully or doubtful, in joy or in sorrow, In light or in darkness and finally whether you are growing or declining.

If you chose the things of the Spirit of God, your burden will be fulfilled with God's life and His peace. But if you chose the things of the flesh, your burden will be fulfilled with sinful lusting, guilt and death.

But also remember, whatever you are thirsting after, will become one with your willing spirit and ultimately live within you at all time.

Please choose your desires wisely because as a man thinks in his heart, so he is and will become.

All your actions have intentions behind them and those intentions can either be for your own glory or for the glory of God.

Our Lord Jesus Christ gave us a wonderful wisdom to help us to find out whether our intentions and actions serve God or ourselves.

If your intentions serve you and seeks to glorify the self in you, your glory is not from God because the works of the flesh cannot please God as mentioned in Gal 5:19.

But if your intentions serves the will of God that created you, your glory come from God because it is only the fruits of the Spirit that pleases God as also mentioned in Gal 5:22-23.

Therefore, check your desires and intentions to recognise the glory you seek whether it is of God or yourself.

Remember, he who seeks the glory that belongs to God, will not have any unrighteousness in him because he srves only the will of God.

The sacrifice required of us as a demonstration of obedience towards God is to give up self will and love the will of God. The denial of self on a daily basis is the sacrifice for sin because self is the chief foundation of sinful behaviour.

Since the blood of bulls cannot blot away sin, our Lord Jesus Christ died to establish a new covenant for the atonement of sin with His blood.

Now that our sins has been forgiven by God, we are free to reckon yourselves as dead to sin but alive in righteousness towards God because sin does not have power over us who are in Christ Jesus.

Jesus Christ defeated the power of sin and as many you are willing to sacrifice their self will and allow the Spirit of God control their will towards loving God in obedience, sin cannot overcome such a person again.

Therefore, give up the self will in you and embrace a life controlled through the Holy Spirit and you will be free from sin.

The judgement of the last day will primarily focus on whether you loved God and loved your neighbours. God designed the ten commandments so that no one does evil to his neighbour as a result of love.

This demonstrates that love is truly the fulfillment of the law. For the law has no power over love and love equally does no evil against another, thereby rendering the punishment of the law of no effect.

Living in righteousness is possible only when deeply rooted out of love because no virtue can sustain continuity if not from love. Love is the very life and power of virtues.

Your level of obedience is also equal to the depth of your love for God. And where there is no real love for the will of God, obedience will be shalow and fades away after a while.

So child of God, loving God affectionately in Christ is the power you need to overcome temptations from the kingdom of darkness. Righteousness becomes a natural flow of life to him that loves God and loves his neighbour as God has loves him.

Fornication may seem like fun, pleasurable and brings happiness but it is a dangerous killer of destiny and carries a sticky spirit of addiction that haunts her victim with relentless lusting that never goes away.

Fornication opens a gateway to your soul and leaves the door open for other vicious demonic spirit to have access to your mind at any time of their choice whether in the day, night or during dreams.

You don't want to have your mind constantly consumed by the flames of lust that defiles you your thoughts, heart, mind, soul and your will.

Flee fornication because it is sin against yourself and leaves you vulnerable to the attacks of the enemy non stop.

Following Jesus Christ simply means to accept to love God the Father above everything else and to be wired in His love both in your mind, heart, will, conscience, soul, desires, attitudes, character and consciousness.

And anyone who truly loves God has been translated from darkness into the light of God and the nature of love in Christ begins to radiates through him in all things.

In order to love God verily, you have to give up yourself which means giving up the stubborn pride associated with self and denying the control and influence of self over your willing spirit. The self must die for you to become born into God's love and be ruled by it.

Brethren, do all you can to be born of the love of Christ because without denying self and loving God truly, you are risking eternal separation from God.
