Monday 3rd November 2025 Morning Glory Devotional!
Theme: “Faith That Finds Mercy”
(Inspired by Luke 17:19 — “Thy faith hath made thee whole.”)
Scripture:
> “And Jesus said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.” — Luke 17:19
Message:
As Jesus journeyed through Samaria, ten l***rs met Him from afar, crying out, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!” (Luke 17:11–14). In those days, l***rs were social outcasts — cut off from family, friends, and community. They lived together, bound by their shared pain and rejection.
But here lies a vital truth: you cannot rise by remaining among those who are as broken as you are. When you need a divine solution, you must turn to the One who can truly help. You don’t seek medical advice from a carpenter — and you shouldn’t seek lasting healing from human sources that lack divine power.
Jesus didn’t go directly into the l***r colony — He was simply passing through. Sometimes, God sends people or moments that pass through your life carrying divine opportunity. You must be alert, discerning, and responsive when He speaks through them.
Perhaps today, you feel like Jesus is blessing everyone else but you — that He’s “passing by” your situation. Maybe your faith, your family, your finances, or your joy seem to be slipping away. In those moments, don’t stay silent. Cry out from the depths of your heart:
“Jesus, have mercy on me!”
Your prayers are incomplete until you have asked for mercy. Mercy opens doors where rules close them. The ten l***rs broke religious protocol — instead of shouting “Unclean!” as the law required, they cried for mercy. Desperate people pray desperate prayers, and God responds to desperation that is rooted in faith.
If you want an uncommon answer, be ready to do something uncommon. Like David declared,
> “I cried unto the Lord with my voice, and He heard me from His holy hill.” — Psalm 3:4
When faith and mercy meet, wholeness follows. Don’t let Jesus just “pass through” your life — call upon Him until His presence becomes your healing.
God is working!
God is winning!
It's a new day for you!
Good morning, and have a blessed new week.
