TRAINING MISSIONS TO KENYA, TANZANIA AND RWANDA

I travelled to Kenya last week and currently in Tanzania on a training mission. We have Bible Training Centres across 6 countries in Africa, and graduating the students who have passed through our training programmes.

In the past week, I presided over the graduation ceremonies at Kakamega, Marenyo, Bungoma, Likuyani/Mautuma and Eldoret, all in Kenya. Highlights of the events are shown in the photos and short videos below.

We have also seen several people giving their lives to Jesus Christ as a result of the Good News preached to them. Many have also received a call into ministry. This is God at work! 🙏👏👏

I am now in Tanzania for the graduation ceremonies at Arusha and Korogwe/Tanga. I will also be ordaining 16 candidates into the ministry at Arusha.

A team will be travelling this week to Kigali in Rwanda to preside over the graduation ceremony there.

We thank God for all these developments and are grateful to Him for the privilege of serving Him.

We give Him all the glory for the great things He has done, and still do! 🙏🙏👏👏❤️❤️

GBTC GRADUATION CEREMONIES & MISSION TO EAST AFRICA - JUNE 2023

Greetings to you all!

Today 1st of June 2023, my wife and I set out from London to Tanzania on an overnight flight and with a brief stopover at Nairobi, Kenya tomorrow morning for the start of the East Africa missions.

On arrival, we will be meeting with graduating students of Grace Bible Training Centre (GBTC) at Arusha, Tanzania and conduct ordination interviews for 12 candidates.

First graduation ceremony will take place on Saturday 3rd for 1st & 2nd batches of graduates plus an ordination service.

On Monday 5th, we set out to Korogwe, Tanga region in the North East Coast of Tanzania for the 1st graduation ceremony taking place on Tuesday 6th.

On the 7th, we leave for Dar-es-Salaam, the nation's capital to meet with pastors and to minister to them. We will explore opportunities to start a GBTC centre there.

On Friday morning of 9th, we leave for Kenya via Nairobi and hoping to arrive Kisumu Airport in the afternoon. From there we meet with the graduating students of Kakamega zone for the graduation ceremony taking place on Saturday 10th June.

This would be followed by graduation ceremonies at Chavakali on the 13th, Mautuma / Eldoret on the 15th and Bungoma zone on Saturday 17th.

We will rest for a few days at Bungoma before returning the following week to London via Nairobi.

We are trusting God for a successful mission.

We need your prayers for journey mercies, divine protection, favour, good health, wisdom and grace to be a blessing.

We need prayers also for all the preparations on the ground by staff and graduating students in Tanzania and Kenya.

In everything, we want the name of Jesus Christ alone to be glorified and the Church established on truth, righteousness and the grace of God!

"GBTC East Africa Graduation Ceremonies"

My wife and I are currently making plans to travel to East Africa in June 2023 for the graduation ceremonies of Grace Bible Training Centre (GBTC) and to run a few missions programmes in a few cities.

There are 2 levels of graduates - Certificate and Diploma.

The following countries / centres are proposed for this visit:
1. Kenya - Bungoma, Sirisia, Lukoris, Kakamega, Chavakali and Mautuma
2. Uganda - Kampala and Gulu
3. Tanzania - Arusha and Korogwe

Since there are several centres in these countries ready to graduate, we try to band them together at the zonal centres as highlighted for each country. This makes it easier for travel and to manage the ceremonies.

We need prayers as we prepare for the travel and for the ceremonies for:
1. Divine protection
2. Journey mercies
3. Strength and wisdom as we plan and prepare
4. Financial resources
5. Successful missions
6. Wisdom and favour on all members of staff in the field
7. Blessings on the students as they prepare for final exams and graduate to serve in the Lord’s vineyard
8. Grace upon everyone involved with preparations.

Grace Bible Training School (GBTC) School of Ministry website:

God has been faithful to us over the years of travelling to various countries and cities to run training missions.

We can see the move of God, His favour and grace as we serve in obedience, faith and hope.

We had the final graduation ceremony in Nigeria on Saturday 10th December 2022 at Grace Bible Training Centre (GBTC) School of Ministry which was beautiful and successful.

This was conducted along with the ordination service for 8 candidates who were graduates of GBTC plus 8 pastors who were granted ministerial licences under the Network for World Missions.
