*THÈME : LE MYSTÈRE DE LA FOI*

*LES SAINTES ÉCRITURES : Garde le mystère de la foi dans une conscience pure. 1 Timothée 3:9*

PENSÉE DU JOUR : Notre victoire dans la vie repose sur notre foi.

La foi est une force majeure pour la vie et l'accomplissement de notre destinée. Votre foi détermine ce qui est permis et ce qui ne l'est pas dans votre vie.

Cependant, la foi reste un mystère pour beaucoup. C'est pourquoi beaucoup ont du mal à vivre, agir ou fonctionner selon leur foi.

Examinons maintenant quelques raisons ou nécessités importantes de la foi.

1. Notre victoire dans la vie repose sur notre foi.

1 Jean 5:4 dit : « Tout ce qui est né de Dieu triomphe du monde ; et la victoire qui triomphe du monde, c'est notre foi. » Notre victoire dans la vie repose sur notre foi.

2. La foi est essentielle à la vie. Habacuc 2:4 dit : « Le juste vivra par sa foi. » La qualité et la pérennité de votre vie reposent entièrement sur votre foi.

3. La foi est le fondement de notre salut.
Éphésiens 2:8 dit : « Car c’est par la grâce que vous êtes sauvés, par le moyen de la foi… »
Ainsi, lorsque notre foi est mise à l’épreuve, notre spiritualité est menacée.

Mais qu’est-ce que la foi ?

La foi, c’est donner corps à notre espérance, c’est confirmer nos espoirs par la Parole de Dieu (Hébreux 11:1). Autrement dit, c’est rendre nos espoirs et nos attentes concrets et solides grâce à la Parole de Dieu.

Par exemple, dire : « Je dois réussir mon examen », c’est de l’espoir. Mais dire : « Tout travail procure un profit », c’est avoir un fondement, un fondement biblique, dans Proverbes 14:23. Et lorsque vous dites : « Je suis la tête et non la queue », cela a du sens, un sens ancré dans l'Écriture, Deutéronome 28:13.

La providence divine ne devrait pas être notre problème, car il est écrit : « Vous servirez l'Éternel, votre Dieu, et IL bénira votre pain et votre eau » (Exode 23:25).

Ainsi, il ne suffit pas de désirer des choses. La question essentielle est : que dit la Parole de Dieu à propos de ce que vous désirez ? Il ne suffit pas d'espérer des choses ; il est important de connaître la position de la Parole concernant vos attentes. C'est pourquoi nous n'avons pas tous le même niveau de foi.

C'est comme un avocat qui se présente au tribunal et exige un jugement fondé sur les dispositions de la loi. Son argumentation est solide, contrairement à celui de quelqu'un qui parle sous le seul angle du sentiment.

Bien-aimés, votre vie s'inscrit dans les limites permises par votre foi ; développez votre foi.

RAPPELEZ-VOUS CECI : Notre victoire finale dans la vie repose sur notre foi.

DEVOIRS :

Ancrez vos attentes dans la Parole de Dieu.

Refusez de vous bercer d'illusions ; bâtissez votre foi sur les fondements des Écritures.

Définissez les limites de votre vie en vous appuyant sur votre foi et sur la Parole de Dieu.

PRIÈRE : Père, merci de m'avoir révélé l'importance cruciale de la foi pour ma vie et ma destinée. Je reçois la grâce de vivre pleinement ma foi et de fonder ma vie sur Ta Parole, Seigneur, au Nom de Jésus.

TOPIC: THE MYSTERY OF FAITH

SCRIPTURE: Holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience. 1 Timothy 3:9

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Our overall victory in life is anchored on our faith.
Faith is a major force for life and destiny fulfilment. Your faith determines what is allowable and what is disallowed in your life.

However, the subject of faith remains a mystery to many people. That is why many people battle to walk in faith, operate in faith, or function in faith.

Now, let us examine a few important reasons or necessities for faith.

1. Our overall victory in life is hinged on our faith.
1 John 5:4 says, Whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. Our overall victory in life is anchored on our faith.

1. Faith is critical to life.
Habakkuk 2:4 says, The just shall live by his faith. The quality and durability of your life are all anchored on your own faith.

1. Faith is the basis or foundation of our salvation.
Ephesians 2:8 says, For by grace are ye saved through faith…
So, when our faith is challenged, our spirituality is at risk.

Now, what is faith?
Faith is giving substance to our hope or substantiating the things we hope for through the Word of God (Hebrews 11:1 ). That is, making our hopes and our expectations concrete or solid through the Word of God.

For example, if you say, “I must pass my exam.” That is hope. But when you say, “In all labour there is profit.” Now, it has a foundation, a scriptural foundation in Proverbs 14:23. And when you say, “I am the head and not the tail,” it has substance, one rooted in the Scripture, Deuteronomy 28:13.
Supernatural supply should not be our problem because it is written, And ye shall serve the Lord your God, and He shall bless your bread and your water... Exodus 23:25.

So, it is not enough to merely desire things. The critical question is: what does the Word of God say about what you want? It is not enough to expect things; it is important to know the stand of the Word concerning your expectation. That is why we are not all at the same level of faith.
It is like a lawyer going to the courtroom and demanding judgment based on the provisions of the law. His case carries weight, unlike that of someone speaking from mere sentiment.

Beloved, your life moves within the perimeter of the boundaries permitted by your faith; develop your faith.

REMEMBER THIS: Our overall victory in life is anchored on our faith.


ASSIGNMENT(S):
1. Anchor your expectations on the Word of God.
2. Refuse wishful thinking—build your faith based on Scriptural provisions.
3. Define the boundaries of your life using your faith on the basis of the Word of God.

PRAYER: Father, thank You for showing me the critical necessity of faith to my life and destiny. I receive the grace to walk in the reality of faith and to establish my life on Your Word, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

*THÈME : LA PUISSANCE DE L'EXCELLENCE*

*LES SAINTES ÉCRITURES : Vois-tu un homme diligent dans son travail ? Il se tiendra devant les rois ; il ne se tiendra pas devant les gens de basse condition. Proverbes 22:29.*

*PENSÉE DU JOUR* : L'excellence est la voie du succès dans tous les domaines de la vie.

Le Christianisme est un chemin spirituel vers l'excellence et non une excuse pour la médiocrité. Être les meilleurs est notre vocation en tant qu'enfants de Dieu, et c'est cela l'excellence.
L'excellence est la voie du succès dans tous les domaines. Savoir prier ne signifie pas que vous devez être médiocre.

Nous voyons l'excellence clairement démontrée dans la vie de Joseph. Dans Genèse 41:38, Pharaon dit à ses serviteurs : « Trouverons-nous un homme comme celui-ci, en qui réside l'Esprit de Dieu ? » Et au verset 39, il dit à Joseph : « …il n'y a personne d'aussi avisé et excellent que toi. » En d'autres termes, vous êtes meilleur que tous les autres, et c'est pourquoi je vous ai placé au sommet. On ne trouve dans l'Écriture aucun exemple d'une personne qui, en manifestant la médiocrité, l'ait masquée par la prière et le jeûne, et ait excellé ou atteint le sommet de la vie. Joseph était un homme d'alliance, pourtant il ne s'était pas reposé uniquement sur la prière pour réussir ; il avait choisi l'excellence comme clé.

Maintenant, qu'est-ce que l'excellence ?

1. L'excellence est la qualité d'être exceptionnel et extrêmement bon. Vous êtes exceptionnel et extrêmement bon dans ce que vous faites.

2. C'est une aversion pour la moyenne et une quête obsessionnelle pour la qualité. Vous fuyez la médiocrité. Pour vous, « être suffisant » ne suffit pas, car vous êtes avide de haute qualité.

3. Cela signifie ne rien retenir et ne négliger aucun aspect de la mission de la vie.

Bien-aimés, il y a aujourd'hui beaucoup de chrétiens pour lesquels Dieu ne sait que faire. Dieu ne vous placera pas au-dessus de ceux qui sont bien meilleurs que vous dans leur domaine. C’est l’un des défis que nous observons dans de nombreux systèmes qui glorifient la médiocrité.

Bien-aimés, soyez si profonds spirituellement et si exceptionnels physiquement que, lorsqu’on voit vos actions, on soit naturellement conduit vers Dieu. Que votre excellence ait une dimension évangélique. Si vous pouvez rendre fier votre Père céleste par votre excellence, aucune force ne sera assez puissante pour entraver votre destinée.

Bien-aimés, la plus grande chose que vous puissiez faire dans votre cheminement de foi c'est de représenter Dieu avec excellence dans votre génération.

1. Refusez la médiocrité et visez l’excellence dans tout ce que vous faites.

2. Développez vos compétences pour devenir exceptionnel.

TOPIC: THE POWER OF EXCELLENCE

SCRIPTURE: Seest thou a man diligent in his work? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men. Proverbs 22:29

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Excellence is the pathway to the top in all realms of life.

Christianity is a spiritual platform for excellence and not an excuse for mediocrity. Being the best is our calling as children of God, and that is excellence. Excellence is the pathway to the top in all realms. The fact that you know how to pray does not mean you should be mediocre person.

We see excellence clearly demonstrated in the life of Joseph. In Genesis 41:38, Pharaoh said unto his servants, “Can we find such a one as this is, a man in whom the Spirit of God is?” And in verse 39, he told Joseph: “…there is none so discreet and wise as you are.”

In other words, you are better than everyone else, and for that reason, I have placed you at the top. We have nowhere in Scripture where a person manifested mediocrity, covered it with prayer and fasting, and excelled or rose to the top in life. Joseph was a covenant man, yet he did not depend on prayer alone to rise; he chose excellence as a key.

Now, what is excellence?
1. Excellence is the quality of being outstanding and extremely good. You are outstanding and extremely good at what you do.

2. It is an aversion to average and an addiction to quality. You run away from mediocrity. For you, “good enough” is not enough, because you are addicted to high quality.

3. It means holding nothing back and leaving no stone unturned in the delivery of life's assignment.

Beloved, there are many Christians today concerning whom God doesn't know what to do. God will not place you above people who are far better than you in what they do. That is one of the challenges we see in many systems that celebrate mediocrity.
Beloved, be so spiritually deep and physically outstanding that when people see your works, they are automatically directed to God.

Let your excellence carry an evangelistic dimension. If you can make your heavenly Father proud with your excellence, no force is strong enough to frustrate your destiny.

Beloved, the highest thing you can do in your journey of faith is to represent God with excellence in your generation.

REMEMBER THIS: Excellence is the pathway to the top in all realms of life.

*THÈME : L'ALLIANCE DE BÉNÉDICTION*

*LES SAINTES ÉCRITURES : Mais souviens-toi de l'Éternel, ton Dieu, car c'est Lui qui te donne la force d'acquérir des richesses, afin de confirmer Son alliance qu'IL a jurée à tes pères, comme tu le vois aujourd'hui. Deutéronome 8:18*.

*PENSÉE DU JOUR* : Dieu est fidèle à Son alliance, et cette alliance est universelle.

Notre verset de référence affirme clairement que Dieu est fidèle à Son alliance. IL est engagé à le respecter.

Je me souviens de l'histoire d'un jeune homme, lors de la construction du Glory Dome en 2017. Fraîchement diplômé de l'université, il avait économisé environ cinquante mille nairas qu'il gardait dans la poche de sa veste. Lors d'une de nos réunions, j'ai mentionné comment j'avais contribué au projet en vidant deux de mes comptes. Il m'a dit avoir entendu parler de mon geste et avoir décidé d'en faire autant. Il a demandé à sa fiancée de l'époque, devenue depuis son épouse, d'aller chez lui, de fouiller dans la poche de son costume et d'y prendre cinquante mille nairas, qu'il avait utilisés comme première contribution au projet de construction. Il lui avait même interdit d'en utiliser pour payer ses frais de transport. Elle avait donc pris l'argent et avait suivi ses instructions.

C'est alors, la vie du jeune homme bascula. Soudain, quelqu'un l'appela et lui demanda : « Tu as un travail ?» Il répondit : « Oui.» On lui avait proposé un contrat de 100 millions de nairas, mais il n'avait pas d'entreprise enregistrée pour l'exécuter. Il avait donc demandé à un ami : « Tu as une entreprise ?» L'ami avait répondu : « Oui, mais si je te la cède, on partagera les bénéfices. » Il répondit : « Pas de problème. » Ce travail lui avait rapporté 20 millions de nairas.

À partir de là, sa carrière décolla. Lors de notre dernière conversation, il réalisait déjà des projets se chiffrant en milliards de nairas. Tout cela grâce à sa foi en Dieu.

Dans l'alliance de bénédiction, certains s'adressent à Dieu et disent : « Dieu, bénis-moi », et Dieu répond : « Qu'as-tu fait pour mériter Ma bénédiction ? As-tu respecté les termes de l'alliance ? As-tu accompli ta part ?»

Maintenant, posez-vous la question : « Que dois-je faire pour espérer la bénédiction de Dieu ? »

1. Menez une vie de droiture.

La droiture est une voie essentielle pour recevoir la bénédiction de Dieu. Ce n'est donc pas étonnant que le Psaume 24.3-5 dise : _Qui montera à la montagne de l'Éternel ? Qui se tiendra dans son lieu saint ? Celui qui a les mains pures et le cœur pur, qui ne se livre pas à la vanité et qui ne jure pas faussement. Celui-là recevra la bénédiction de l'Éternel, la justice du Dieu de son salut._

2. Soyez un acteur de l'alliance de générosité (2 Corinthiens 9.6-7).

Autrement dit, soyez généreux. Généreux pour le royaume, généreux envers les autres.

3. Soyez une source de bénédiction.

Être une source de bénédiction pour le monde, pour votre génération, est une condition essentielle de l'alliance de bénédiction. Être une source de bénédiction vous rend béni, car on récolte ce que l'on sème (Genèse 12.2-3). Lorsque vous êtes une bénédiction pour le monde, une bénédiction pour votre génération, vous ne pouvez pas échapper à la bénédiction de Dieu.

4. Soyez engagé dans un travail assidu.

Proverbes 22:29 dit : « Si tu vois un homme diligent dans son travail, il se tiendra devant les rois ; il ne se tiendra pas devant les gens de basse condition. »

Montre-moi un homme énergique et vigoureux, un homme étranger à la paresse, dont les mains ne sont ni faibles ni vides, et je vous montrerai un homme qui se tiendra auprès des rois.

Bien-aimés, on ne peut pas être paresseux et béni. On ne peut pas être indolent et béni. On ne peut pas être négligent et être dans le manque.

L'alliance de Dieu est à la fois fiable et inébranlable, et nos habitudes déterminent notre environnement. Notre emploi du temps influence notre réussite. Si la bénédiction de Dieu est votre désir, vous devez remplir les conditions requises par l'alliance, telles qu'énoncées ci-dessus.

RAPPELEZ-VOUS CECI : Dieu est un Dieu fidèle à Son alliance, et cette alliance est universelle.

1. Relisez l’étude d’aujourd’hui.
2. Détachez-vous de tout mode de vie contraire à l’alliance.

TOPIC: THE BLESSING COVENANT.

SCRIPTURE: But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day. Deuteronomy 8:18.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: God is a covenant-keeping God, and the covenant is universal in applicability.

Our anchor scripture makes it clear that God is a covenant keeper. He is committed to keeping His Covenant.
I remember the story of a young man during the construction of the Glory Dome in 2017. He just came out of school as a fresh university graduate. He had saved some money amounting to about Fifty Thousand Naira, which he kept in his suit pocket.

When I mentioned in one of our services how I gave towards the project by emptying two of my accounts, he said he heard it and decided to take a similar action. He told his fiancée then, who is now his wife, to go to his place, check his suit pocket and take the Fifty Thousand Naira and sow it as a seed toward the building project. He told her not to take even transport fare from it. So, she took the money and did as she was instructed.

That was when things began to change for the young man. He said suddenly, someone called him and asked, “Can you do a job?” He said, “Yes.” They gave him a job of 100 million Naira, but he didn’t have a registered company with which to execute the job. So, he asked one of his friends, “Do you have a company?” He said, “Yes, but if I give you the company, we will share the profit. He said, “No problem.” His profit from that job was 20 million Naira.

From there, he took off. As at the last time we spoke, he was already doing jobs in billions of Naira. All happened by honouring God.

In the covenant of Blessing, there are people who go to God and say, “God, bless me,” and God says, “What did you do to make Me bless you? Have you fulfilled the details of the covenant? Have you fulfilled your portion?”

Now, ask yourself the question, “What do I need to do to expect the blessing of God?”

1. Maintain upright living.
Uprightness is a major gateway to the Blessing of God. No wonder, Psalm 24:3-5 says, who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.

2. Being a giving covenant practitioner (2 Corinthians 9:6-7)
That is, you are a giver. A giver to the cause of the kingdom, a giver to people.

3. Being a blessing.
Being a blessing to your world, a blessing to your generation, is a major condition for the Blessing Covenant. Being a blessing makes you blessed because whatever a man sows, that is what he reaps. (Genesis 12:2-3). When you are a blessing to your world, a blessing to your generation, you can never escape being blessed by God.

4. Commitment to diligent labour.
Proverbs 22:29 says, Seest thou a man that is diligent in his business, he shall stand before kings. He shall not stand before mean men.
Show me a man who is energetic and forceful, a man who is stranger to laziness, whose hands are not weak, whose hands are not empty; and I will show you a man who will stand with kings.

Beloved, you cannot be lazy and be blessed. You cannot be slothful and be blessed. You cannot be slack and not lack. The covenant of God is both reliable and unbreakable, and habit determines habitat. Your schedule affects your success. If the Blessing of God is your desire, you must fulfil the required terms of the covenant as stated above.

REMEMBER THIS: God is a covenant-keeping God, and the covenant is universal in applicability.

2. Disconnect yourself from any anti-covenant lifestyle.
