💖 Got an unwanted bra tucked away in a drawer? 💖

Why not give it a new purpose?

Our team at Highcliffe have launched a Bra Bank in support of Against Breast Cancer. Donations help fund vital breast cancer research while also promoting textile recycling.

You can:

🎀 Drop donations at our Highcliffe Funeralcare branch

🎀 Hand them in at Hinton Park and we'll deliver them to the Bra Bank for you

Please donate any bras in wearable condition and help us support this fantastic cause.

Together, we can make a real difference. 💕

🌈 Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day | 28th August 🌈

Today, on Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day, we take a moment to remember the pets who have brought love, companionship, and joy to our lives.

At Hinton Park Woodland Burial Ground, we understand that pets are often much more than animals - they are loyal companions, treasured friends and valued members of the family.
The bond we share with them can be as deep and meaningful as that shared with any other loved one.

As we reflect on the importance of remembering all those who have touched our lives, we also recognise the special place that beloved pets hold in our hearts.

🐾 They may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.

💜 Always loved. Never forgotten.

We would love to hear about the pets who made a lasting impact on your life.

Please share a favourite photograph, memory, or tribute in the comments below and join us in celebrating the unconditional love they gave.

🐿️ Wildlife Feature: Meet One of Our Most Curious Visitors

Who else thinks squirrels are nature's greatest entertainers? 🐿️🌿

These wonderful photographs captured one of our resident grey squirrels enjoying a visit to the woodland, from balancing acrobatically above a feeder to stopping for a close-up photo opportunity!

Did you know that squirrels can bury hundreds of nuts and seeds each year, helping to spread trees and support woodland growth? 🌳 Many of the woodlands we enjoy today have benefited from these furry gardeners, even if they don't always remember where they've hidden their treasures!

Our grounds provide a haven for a variety of wildlife, and it's always a pleasure to see these busy characters darting through the trees and foraging amongst the undergrowth.

👇 Have you spotted a squirrel or any other wildlife during your visit?

Share your photos and sightings in the comments. We'd love to see the woodland through your eyes. 📸🍃

📦💖 Supporting a Wonderful Cause 💖📦

On Tuesday 18 August, Hinton Park held a donation collection of unwanted clothing and bric-a-brac items for the Julia's House Children's Hospice Charity Shop.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our colleagues, families and local supporters, we were delighted to fill an entire van with donations for this fantastic charity.

Pictured is our Funeral Memorial Consultant, Jo, handing over the donations and helping make this wonderful initiative a success. A huge thank you to Jo for organising the collection and to everyone who kindly donated.

Your generosity will help support the invaluable work carried out by Julia's House, making a real difference to children and families who need it most.

👏 Well done, Jo, and thank you to everyone who contributed to such a worthwhile cause.
