We warmly invite you to join us for a special Study Morning exploring different approaches to reading and understanding the Bible, led by Leslie Pringle, a retired Religious Education teacher and former lecturer at Birkbeck College, London.

This will be an engaging and accessible morning of learning, reflection and discussion, offering an opportunity to think more deeply about the ways in which we approach and engage with Scripture.

Whether you regularly take part in Bible study or are simply curious to explore the Bible from a fresh perspective, you are very welcome to join us.

The morning will also be a lovely opportunity to meet and share fellowship with brothers and sisters in Christ from our parish and the wider local Christian community.

Programme:
9.45am – Tea and Coffee
10.00am–12.00pm – Study and Discussion
12.00pm – Lunch

As the new term begins, you are warmly invited to join us as we pray for our local schools and the whole school community — children and young people, pupils and students, teachers and school staff, and all their families, carers and guardians.

Together, we’ll ask God’s blessing on everyone beginning a new school year: for all that they will learn, the friendships they will make, the opportunities and challenges ahead, and for all those who will teach, support, encourage and care for them along the way.

There will also be a special blessing of school bags and equipment — so don’t forget to bring yours! 🎒

We would love to have as many of our local young people and families with us as possible. Bring yourselves, bring your school bags — and bring a friend or invite another family along too! 😊

Whether you are a regular member of our congregation, part of one of our local school communities, visiting St Thomas’ for the first time, or returning after some time away, you will receive a very warm welcome.

Come and help us fill St Thomas’ with children, young people and families as we pray together for our local schools and everyone beginning a new academic year.

🎒 Sun 6 Sept — Back to School Sunday & Parish Family Mass, 10am.

🎶 Fridays from 11 Sept — Youth Choir Club, 6:30–7:15pm.

🕊️ Sun 20 Sept — Confirmation at our 10am Parish Mass.

🎸 Sat 26 Sept — One Night Only: live pop & rock from the 1960s to the 2020s, 8–10pm.
