Extra soft rain falls over the flower market, lanterns glow warm, string lights flicker above pink roses and lavender and baby's breath in baskets, wet tarps glisten, eucalyptus hanging, and Jesus holds you as refuge, blue robe with gold trim, halo glowing, arms wrapped tight around your shoulders, head close to yours. Psalm 46:1 says, 'God is our refuge and strength an ever-present help in trouble.' You feel trouble tonight, beanie knit, scarf thick, tears on cheeks, but God is your refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Run to Him here among flowers and soft rain, refuge waiting.
