I feel such an indescribable sorrow at a world filled with violence and evil. When I stand in front of the Altar to receive the Holy Eucharist, I also feel so unworthy of God's love. Why? Because I know I have partaken in, and at times in my life, accelerated this same evil through my words and deeds. However, the good news is that God loves each of us regardless of our past, regardless of our flaws, and regardless of our mistakes. He just asks that we turn away from sin and turn to him.
