Last Friday's UKRANIAN OPEN HOUSE took place in some sunshine. This event continues to grow and we look forward to the next: Friday 9 June / Friday 7 July.
Local groups together with LBHF and Quaker volunteers work to make this what it needs to be to best offer support and advice to Ukranians learning to settle here.

Good Morning,
Atlantic breeze is delaying our Spring and tomatoes remain in the greenhouse or on the windowsill still.
OUR GARDEN is a delight because as well as new growth for Spring we have Sarah Heaton Gardens remoulding it into a much more usable resource. It is exciting to use it now AND think what it could become...

Good Morning!
Next Friday, 12th May 2023, is the next UKRANIAN REFUGEE OPEN HOUSE (3-6pm), when we open our doors to help this new community settle after the traumas of moving country. There will be friendship offered, the chance to share experiences and learn from fellow refugees, LBHF will be there in various forms and other local groups are getting onboard. If you would like to help or attend, please email the manager.
The blossom is gone but spring is helping our garden establish itself, with a bit of help as we welcome regular upkeep and a new design aesthetic (Sarah Heaton Gardens).

BLOSSOM outside in the road is finished and SPRING is SPRINGING... The latest Ukranian Refugee Open House was a big success, the Easter Holidays meant plenty of children - luckily we had an Easter Egg hunt planned! We are pleased to welcome new partners in this venture. If you would like to be involved or want more information: email the manager
ALSO we have been hosting local residents as they come to view the latest proposals to calm traffic in the area and reduce pollution - strong views for and against and sideways... the inevitability of measures that impact us but protect the environment is ovewhelming.

Good Morning All,
The blossom is still swirling in the sunshine and collecting down the street to the delight of schoolchildren.
Hiring at Hammersmith Quaker Meeting House is continuing to pick up, though we have much space still.
The more people come to see the place, the more it gets hired; it gives a good impression thanks to design, atmosphere and amenities.
For example we shall host, amongst others, baby music lessons, a Residents Association drop-in about local traffic and more yoga, plus the next Ukranian Refugee Open House on April 14th.
