Last week we learnt about the ministry of the new covenant from 2 Corinthians 3:6-11.

What did we learn?

1. The ministry of the new covenant is a ministry of the Holy Spirit- 2 Cor. 3:6,8

2. The ministry of the new covenant brings life- 2 Cor. 3:6, Isaiah 35:1-2, Ephesians 2:1-5

3. The ministry of the new covenant brings God’s righteousness- 2 Cor. 3:9

4. The ministry of the new covenant covenant is glorious- 2 Cor. 3:7-11

Poplar Baptist Church is a gathering of people from many different backgrounds. We all have one thing in common: by God’s kindness we have come to believe that “God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16).

Our meetings are as follows:

Wednesday Bible Study =19:30
Young People's Meeting (Friday) = 19:00
Sunday Service = 10:30 and 18:30

Through this page we aim to publish weekly teachings of the church to equip the saints and bring the life-giving gospel of Jesus Christ to the world.

Many say how much they appreciate the warmth and friendliness of the church, and the clear teaching from the Bible.
