We express our deepest condolences to Imam al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his reappearance) and all followers of Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT) on the passing of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), the martyrdom of Imam Hasan al-Mujtaba (AS), and the martyrdom of Imam Reza (AS). The Islamic Centre of England invites all brothers and sisters to attend these mourning programmes.

Imam Hasan’s peace was never surrender. It was a principled stand to protect the faithful, expose falsehood, and preserve the path of truth when betrayal had weakened the ground for open conflict.
When a covenant is broken, responsibility does not end. The question returns to the Ummah: will we recognise the truth, refuse cooperation with oppression, defend the oppressed, and stand with justice in the way we are able?
Resistance does not always take the form of war. Sometimes it takes the form of clarity, patience, loyalty, and refusing to give legitimacy to oppression.

صلح امام حسن علیه‌السلام هرگز به معنای تسلیم نبود. این صلح، موضعی حکیمانه و الهی بود برای حفظ مؤمنان، آشکار شدن باطل، و پاسداری از مسیر حق در زمانی که خیانت و سستی، زمینهٔ نبرد آشکار را تضعیف کرده بود.
وقتی پیمان شکسته می‌شود، مسئولیت پایان نمی‌یابد. اینجاست که پرسش متوجه امت می‌شود: آیا حقیقت را می‌شناسیم، از همکاری با ظلم دوری می‌کنیم، از مظلوم دفاع می‌کنیم، و به اندازهٔ توان خود در کنار حق می‌ایستیم؟
مقاومت همیشه به معنای جنگ نیست. گاهی مقاومت یعنی بصیرت، صبر، وفاداری، و ندادن مشروعیت به ستم.

Forty days after Ashura, the survivors of Karbala returned to the land of sacrifice.
They did not return with worldly victory, but with a message that history could never silence. On the very plains where Imam Husayn (a.s.) and his loyal companions gave everything for the sake of truth, Lady Zaynab (a.s.), Imam Zayn al-Abidin (a.s.), and the remaining members of the Ahlulbayt (a.s.) stood once more. Their grief was immense, yet their faith remained unshaken.
According to the well-known Shia narration, they were joined by Jabir ibn Abdullah al-Ansari, the first pilgrim to visit the grave of Imam Husayn (a.s.). From that moment, Karbala was no longer only a battlefield; it became an eternal symbol of remembrance, dignity, and resistance against oppression.
Allah says:
“Do not lose heart nor grieve, and you shall have the upper hand, if you are believers.”
(Qur’an 3:139)

چهل روز پس از عاشورا، بازماندگان کربلا به سرزمین شهادت بازگشتند.
آنان نه با پیروزی ظاهری و دنیوی، بلکه با پیامی بازگشتند که تاریخ هرگز نتوانست آن را خاموش کند. در همان سرزمینی که امام حسین (ع) و یاران باوفایش همه‌چیز را در راه حق فدا کردند، حضرت زینب (س)، امام سجاد (ع)، و دیگر بازماندگان اهل‌بیت (ع) بار دیگر بر مزار شهیدان ایستادند. اندوهشان عظیم بود، اما ایمانشان هرگز متزلزل نشد.
بر اساس نقل مشهور شیعه، جابر بن عبدالله انصاری، نخستین زائر قبر امام حسین (ع)، نیز در آنجا حضور داشت. از آن لحظه، کربلا دیگر تنها یک میدان نبرد نبود، بلکه به نماد جاودانه‌ی یاد، عزت، و ایستادگی در برابر ظلم تبدیل شد.
خدای متعال می‌فرماید:
«وَلَا تَهِنُوا وَلَا تَحْزَنُوا وَأَنْتُمُ الْأَعْلَوْنَ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ»
(سوره آل‌عمران، آیه ۱۳۹)

Was the Peace Treaty of Imam Hasan al-Mujtaba (peace be upon him) an end to resistance—or a test of the Muslim community?

Imam Hasan’s peace was not weakness or surrender. Faced with betrayal, bribery, division, and a collapsing army, he changed the form of resistance while preserving its purpose: defending true Islam, the Ahl al-Bayt, and the principle of wilayah.

The treaty established a public standard. As Mu‘awiyah violated its conditions, the gap between Umayyad rule and Islamic principles became increasingly difficult to conceal.

The military battle had stopped, but the struggle for truth continued—and responsibility shifted to the community.

آیا صلح امام حسن مجتبی علیه‌السلام پایان مقاومت بود، یا آزمونی برای جامعه اسلامی؟

صلح امام حسن نشانه ضعف یا تسلیم نبود. در شرایطی که سپاه ایشان با خیانت، تطمیع، اختلاف و فروپاشی داخلی روبه‌رو شده بود، امام شکل مبارزه را تغییر داد، اما هدف آن را حفظ کرد: پاسداری از اسلام اصیل، دفاع از اهل‌بیت علیهم‌السلام و صیانت از ولایت.

صلح‌نامه، معیاری روشن و عمومی ایجاد کرد. با نقض بندهای آن از سوی معاویه، فاصله حکومت اموی با اصول اسلامی بیش از پیش آشکار شد.

نبرد نظامی متوقف شد، اما مبارزه برای حقیقت ادامه یافت—و مسئولیت از امام به جامعه منتقل شد.

On the **International Day of Hope**, let us reflect on the timeless words of Imam Ali (a.s.):

**أَعْظَمُ الْبَلَاءِ انْقِطَاعُ الرَّجَاءِ**
*"The greatest affliction is the loss of hope."*

Hope in Islam is more than optimism—it is faith in Allah that inspires action, resilience, and perseverance. No matter how difficult the journey, never let the last candle of hope go out.

🕯️ **امید را هرگز از دست ندهید.**

به مناسبت **روز جهانی امید**، سخن گران‌بهای امیرالمؤمنین علی (ع) را به یاد آوریم:

**أَعْظَمُ الْبَلَاءِ انْقِطَاعُ الرَّجَاءِ**

«بزرگ‌ترین بلا، از دست دادن امید است.»

در نگاه اسلام، امید تنها یک احساس نیست؛ نیرویی است که از ایمان به خدا سرچشمه می‌گیرد و انسان را به تلاش، استقامت و ادامه مسیر فرا می‌خواند. حتی در سخت‌ترین لحظات، چراغ امید را خاموش نکنید.

✨ Some acts of worship do not merely rise to the heavens—they transcend every barrier between the servant and the Creator.
Imam al-Ṣādiq (peace be upon him) teaches us that prostration upon the blessed soil of Imam al-Ḥusayn (peace be upon him) is not just a physical act; it is a journey of the soul toward Divine proximity.
May every sujūd bring us closer to Allah, through sincerity, humility, and the path of Aba Abdillah al-Ḥusayn (AS).

قَالَ الصَّادِقُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ:
السُّجُودُ عَلَى تُرْبَةِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ يَخْرِقُ الْحُجُبَ السَّبْعَ.

Imam al-Ṣādiq (peace be upon him) said:
“Prostration upon the soil of al-Ḥusayn (peace be upon him) pierces through the seven veils.”

✨ گاهی یک سجده، تنها خم شدن بر خاک نیست؛ بلکه عبور روح از هر آن چیزی است که میان بنده و پروردگارش فاصله انداخته است.
امام صادق علیه‌السلام، عظمت سجده بر تربت سیدالشهدا علیه‌السلام را چنین توصیف می‌کنند؛ «سجده بر تربت امام حسین علیه‌السلام، حجاب‌های هفت‌گانه را می‌شکافد.» سجده‌ای که انسان را به اخلاص، حضور قلب و قرب الهی نزدیک‌تر می‌سازد.
خدایا، همه سجده‌های ما را نردبانی برای رسیدن به رضای خودت قرار بده.

📖 A Longing Shared by the Heavens

لَيْسَ نَبِيٌّ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ إِلَّا يَسْأَلُونَ اللَّهَ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى أَنْ يُؤْذَنَ لَهُمْ فِي زِيَارَةِ الْحُسَيْنِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ)

“There is no Prophet in the heavens and the earth except that they ask Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, to grant them permission to visit al-Husayn (peace be upon him).”

«هیچ پیامبری در آسمان‌ها و زمین نیست مگر آن‌که از خداوند متعال اجازه می‌خواهد تا به زیارت امام حسین (علیه‌السلام) مشرف شود.»

🕊️ If the Prophets of Allah long for the ziyārah of Imam Husayn (AS), what does that tell us about the station of Karbala?

Karbala is not merely a place on earth. It is a school of faith, sacrifice, dignity, and devotion to God. The soil that embraced the body of Imam Husayn (AS) became a beacon that draws the hearts of believers across generations.

Every step taken toward his shrine is a step toward awakening the soul. Every tear shed for him is a renewal of our covenant with truth, justice, and humanity.

As we remember Aba Abdillah (AS), let us strive not only to visit him with our feet, but to journey toward him with our hearts, our actions, and our commitment to the values for which he sacrificed everything.

🕊️ اگر پیامبران الهی آرزوی زیارت امام حسین(ع) را دارند، جایگاه کربلا تا چه اندازه عظیم است؟

کربلا تنها یک سرزمین نیست؛ مدرسه‌ای است از ایمان، ایثار، عزت و بندگی خدا. خاکی که پیکر مطهر سیدالشهدا(ع) را در آغوش گرفت، به چراغ هدایتی تبدیل شد که دل‌های مؤمنان را در طول قرن‌ها به سوی خود می‌کشاند.

هر قدم به سوی حرم حسین(ع)، گامی به سوی بیداری روح است و هر اشک بر مصیبت او، تجدید پیمان با حقیقت، عدالت و آزادگی.

بیایید در کنار اشتیاق به زیارت آن حضرت، تلاش کنیم ارزش‌های عاشورا را نیز در زندگی خود زنده نگه داریم.

🌿 In a world searching for cures, the Ahlulbayt (a) taught us about a remedy blessed by Allah.

Imam al-Sadiq (a) said:

“In the soil of the grave of Imam Husayn (a) there is healing from every illness, and it is the greatest remedy.”

The sacred soil of Karbala is not merely earth—it is a symbol of sacrifice, faith, purity, and divine mercy. For centuries, believers have turned to the blessed Turbah of Imam Husayn (a) with hope, devotion, and trust in Allah’s healing power.

May Allah grant healing to all those suffering physically, emotionally, and spiritually through the blessings of Muhammad and the Family of Muhammad ﷺ.

🤲 اللهم اشفِ كل مريض بحق الحسين عليه السلام

🌿 در دنیایی که انسان همواره به دنبال درمان و شفا است، اهل‌بیت (علیهم‌السلام) ما را به درمانی الهی و مبارک راهنمایی کرده‌اند.

امام صادق (علیه‌السلام) فرمودند:

«در تربت قبر امام حسین (علیه‌السلام) شفای هر بیماری وجود دارد و آن بزرگ‌ترین دارو است.»

تربت مقدس کربلا تنها خاک نیست؛ بلکه نماد ایثار، ایمان، پاکی و رحمت الهی است. مؤمنان در طول تاریخ با امید و توکل بر خداوند، از برکات تربت سیدالشهدا (ع) بهره‌مند شده‌اند.

خدایا به حق امام حسین (ع)، همه بیماران را شفا عنایت فرما و دل‌های ما را با محبت اهل‌بیت (ع) زنده نگه دار.
