We will conclude our series on Service, exploring what it means to live out ‘Imago Dei’ by recognising God’s image in every person.

We’ll then join Primetime Mass at 6pm, followed by food, conversation, and a screening of ‘Ordinary Angels’, on the power of service.

At our recent Praying with Art session, we explored the rich history and practice of biblical calligraphy!

Guided by Fr Justin, we reflected on the Word of God through writing, lettering, and calligraphy, slowing down to engage with Scripture

A moment of great joy for the Jesuits in Britain!

We are delighted to announce the upcoming Ordination to the Priesthood of Deacon Christopher Martin Brolly SJ.

The Ordination Mass will be celebrated by the Rt Rev. Stephen Wright, Bishop of Diocese of Hexham & Newcastle, on Saturday, 13 June 2026 at 1:00 pm at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Cathedral, Newcastle.

Please join us in celebrating this wonderful milestone and keeping him in your prayers as he prepares for this lifelong commitment to ministry and service within Jesuits Global.

If you cannot attend in person, you can join us online. The ceremony will be livestreamed on YouTube.

Ever tried praying through calligraphy? ✍️

Join Praying with Art with Fr Justin Claravall SJ, currently studying for a masters at the King’s Foundation School of Traditional Arts.

We’ll trace the history of writing the Bible through calligraphy, then slow down and encounter the Word of God through writing, calligraphy and lettering ourselves.

No experience needed
