Ramadan should a source of fulfilment and a time where we focus on ourselves inwardly, this is not the time for festive get togethers and hours spent on socialising. The days of Ramadan are supposed to spent with us changing our attitudes and behaviours, with us realigning our moral compasses and the realisation of how far we drifted away from our own beliefs and principles in practice. Its a time reflect but more importantly to make the changes we have been scared of for so long. Cutting of our phones, distractions and noise that is always temporarily filling little voids in our lives. Its time to listen to the silence and acknowledge the gaps but this time fill them with purpose and the ever presence of Allah the Almighty. Shifting our attention to temporary enjoyment delays us of the reality that we will all have to face, what we need is to know that Allah has given us our purpose and within his divine love we find motivation and true fulfilment. Fulfilment is on the everyday battle to become a better person, its in the smiles we give, its in the kindness we show, its in the words of wisdom we depart, its in the love we share! RAMADAN IS ABOUT PROPHETIC BEHAVIOURAL THERAPY
