A couple of pictures from our recent pilgrimage trip to Lisieux, France, where we visit the Boissonnettes House, the Carmel Convent, the Cathedral of St Pierre and the Basilica of St Therese were we also attended mass. St Therese - Pray for us.

On the eve of the feast day of Founder St George Preca, a mass was celebrated at the SDC House on Friday 8th May. Members of the SDC Friends group, friends and other parishioners were invited. The celebrant was Fr Tomasz Margol, parish priest at the local parish of the Faithful Virgin, Upper Norwood.
On Saturday 9th May, we gathered again for an afternoon together. We shared a reflection based on the video ‘The Manner of a Priest’. We also spent time helping out with various jobs around the house including gardening and cooking. It was a good and enjoyable way how to mark the feast day of our Founder.

There will be a mass at the SDC House in Ryefield Road this Friday 8th May at 7.30 pm to mark the feast day of St George Preca, (SDC Founder). Friends, families and parishioners invited.

Today, feast of Christ the King we reflect on whether He is the real King for each of us. The words on the cross said 'Jesus Christ King of the Jews'. Some people moaned about this and didn't want to acknowledge him as their King.
