Today we remember the horrific attack against America 25 years ago. Many of our followers will recall exactly where they were when the news broke. Our thoughts are with all of the victims and their loved ones, whose lives were changed forever from that day forward. ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

Bells are being rung to mark the moments the planes crashed and buildings fell, as well as to honour all those who have died from 9/11-related illnesses.

After visiting us as part of Doors Open Days at the weekend, friend of the Trust, Avril Bailey shared this beautiful photograph she took of the stained glass window on the south side of the church. Visitors are always amazed at how stunning our windows are, and particularly how great of a condition they are in.

Do you know about the origins of the windows? We've been told stories of them being gifted by various people. Can you shed any light (excuse the pun ๐Ÿ˜‚) on their history? Which features do you love best?

Thank you Avril for sharing! ๐Ÿ™

We were honoured to host a very special visit by First Minister John Swinney to Tundergarth Church and Remembrance Room today. The First Minister spent time reading our book of condolences, and viewed our collection of plaques, shields, badges and memorabilia kindly donated to the Trust by the first responders who worked in the aftermath of the bombing. ๐Ÿ™

Mr Swinney also took time to look at Rogerโ€™s photobook. Speaking to the Trustees, the First Minister thanked us for the work we were doing in keeping alive the memory of all of the victims, and educating the next generation about the bombing.

And of course we couldnโ€™t let him leave without enjoying some delicious home baking from our trustees ๐Ÿฐ๐Ÿง๐Ÿ˜€
