St Grwst Church, Llanrwst St Grwst Church is a Grade I listed church in the beautiful town of Llanrwst in North Wales.

At the heart of the community, we host a wide range of different events for everybody of all faiths and none, as well as our Sunday Christian worship. St Grwst's is a Grade I listed building, an active Church in Wales parish church in the market town of Llanrwst in the Conwy Valley in North Wales. With plenty of history behind us, the current building dates from 1470 and incorporates Gwydir Chapel

, the Wynne family chapel built in 1633. This contains the stone sarcophagus of Llewelyn Fawr dating from 1240, and draws visitors from far and wide. In 2019/2020 we undertook a major restoration and reordering project and now have a lovely light church with new stone flooring and flexible seating meaning that we can expand its use for the community. We now hold regular events such as our weekly Cuppa and Chat coffee mornings, concerts, fairs as well as our Sunday services which are at 9.45am most Sundays. Whether you are visiting us from near or far, or just online, we look forward to welcoming you to St Grwst's Church.

Doors open at 6.30pm for you to grab a glass of something before finding a seat (don't worry, there'll be plenty of room for dancing as well) for a 7pm start

Our new outdoor altar has arrived ready for Ascension Day.
On Thursday, 40 days after Easter, at 7pm in the community orchard, Yr Eagles, we’ll be blessing the new altar and planting 4 fruit trees as we commemorate the day that Christ Ascended back to Heaven.
Everyone is welcome to join as for the service and refreshments after.

If it’s raining we’ll retreat into the church!
