Friends of St Myllins Church

A group of local residents have started ‘The Friends of St Myllin’s Church, Llanfyllin’. We aim to provide a means for everyone, of all faiths or none, to help with the maintenance of this historic building and the surrounding churchyard. As a ‘Friend of St Myllin’s Church’ you would be:
- Helping to preserve the building and its heritage in good condition for the future.
- Enabling the church to

continue to be available to everyone for family occasions like baptisms, weddings and funerals.
- Helping to improve the buildings facilities and enable it to be used more widely by the community. To do this we obviously need to raise money! We hope people wanting to become "Friends" will agree to pay an annual subscription, attend fundraising events, and consider giving gifts and legacies. The money raised will be used for just that. It will not fund the vicarage, clergy salaries or prayer books, etc. Most importantly we need you to volunteer.
