What a wonderful night we had on Saturday. We had over 60 guests who were all served a full Christmas dinner with all the trimmings – and of course mince pies with lots of teas and coffee. Everyone left with bags of goodies and provisions and we even provided Christmas haircuts!!!
The atmosphere was awesome – it was so good to see the smiles on faces at what can be a very difficult time for many. Our wonderful team of volunteers worked their socks off as well – without them we couldn’t do what we do so a huge thank you for your commitment!

Great night tonight. Amazing to hear laughter and see smiles on faces.
We even had 6foot Olaf who was just passing!!! Thank you to our amazing team and to Llanelli Community Partnership for the amazing good bags - all given out after the meal. Also thanks to Llanelli Town Council for all their support again this year. It really helps us do what we do - every penny wisely spent sad invested!!!

Getting ready to welcome our guests tonight. Full Christmas dinner with all the trimmings, pressies and Christmas music!! It’s great to have the opportunity to serve others especially at such a difficult time of year for so many. Maybe you can help your neighbour or do you know someone who is lonely this Christmas?? It’s amazing what a smile and giving your time can do……

Some pics from last nights Life Cafe. Busy as always. We did a full cooked dinner for over 30 guests…..and even managed sausage and beans for the late comers.
It’s humbling to be able to help those who need help in our community. maybe there is something you can do where you live. Just simple acts of kindness can help so much - you don’t always know the wider implications helping people can have ………..give it a go.

Despite the strange autumnal summer ,weather we had a good crowd out tonight. It must have been the fish pie that did it…….oh and the coffee and smiles!!! Great to be helping the mist needy in our community!!! Maybe you can do something to help your neighbour. It doesn’t have to be complicated and can sometimes be as simple as a smile and some kindness. 😀

We are dedicating our coffee morning to Mrs Lyn Jones who is suffering from this awful disease. Lyn is a much loved member of our church and was the headteacher of Pwll school for many years. We thought we would demonstrate our love for Lyn in this way. Please support us by attending or making a contribution. Thank you.

What a wonderful tonight at Life Cafe. Full Christmas dinner served with all the trimmings. We even had crackers and party hats and lots of festive music. Everyone had fun - there was a lovely peaceful atmosphere and it felt good seeing all the happy faces. Everyone also went away with several bags of food and toiletries thanks to the generosity of the Llanelli Community Partnership and Foothold Cymru. as well as selection boxes and goodies. As always a big thanks to Castell Howell for all their continued support with donations throughout the year and also to The Community Development Outreach Team who have helped so much.
This year we have served coffee, fed those who need it, smiled and cried a little whilst helping those in need in our community. it’s a big team effort and it’s an amazing honour and privilege to do what we do. See you in 2023.

Another great night at Life Cafe serving our community.
Lots of hungry people and just those that need some company.
Thank you to our amazing support team….and everyone who contributes. Special thanks to our friends at Castell Howell whose generosity keeps leaving us both surprised and so so grateful. Your pasties went down well tonight that’s for sure 😀😀.
Maybe you can get involved. The needs are great.

Another busy night at Life Cafe meeting the needs of our community here in Llanelli.
Old favourite- cheese and onion pasty, beans and chips…..with lots of coffee and food bags to take away.
Thank you so much to Castell Howell for their kind donations. Everything you help us with is used and very much appreciated. Also big thanks to our local co-op and for all the fresh produce that is literally snapped up in seconds. Hopefully we’re helping to improve diets as we go!!!
