Services in September.
Some of us are still having holidays, so we do not have our usual full list of services. All services ae held in our church in Llanelli. If Fr. Luke is away on a Sunday, we generally have a "Reader Service" with Hours and Typika. Or you could attend the service with our sister parish in Cardiff.

Sunday 13 Sept. NO LITURGY. Reader Service 11.00 a.m.

Wednesday 16 Sept. Evening service. 7.00 p.m.

Sunday 20 Sept. LITURGY 10.30 a.m.
(Confessions 9.00 Hours 10.00)

Wednesday 23 Sept. Evening service 7.00 p.m.

Sunday 27 Sept. NO LITURGY. Possibly a Reader Service at 11.00 a.m. Please check.

Wednesday 30 Sept. NO EVENING SERVICE

Sunday 4 October. NO LITURGY.
Reader Service 11.00 a.m.

After this we return to much more regular services.

We have been clearing the garden round the church, and we started work to clean and decorate the interior of the church (it has not been painted inside since 2015). We were shocked to find that damp had caused rot in one corner of the floor. Some radical timber removal was required. Floor and joist replacement is going well. We hope to have the church usable for Thursday evening for Vespers. If we do not feel it is ready, we will celebrate Vespers in my front room at the icon corner. That was where we celebrated each week in the 1990's.

Celebrating the Feast. Sunday 12th July.
Liturgy 10.30 a.m. We must start on time.(Confessions 9.00 Hours 10.00)

Followed by the Festal Meal. Please bring foods to mark the end of the fast. Plenty of wine is available at the church.

A PARISH MEETING WILL BE HELD AFTER THE FOOD.

Please try to come for Confession during the week. There is no way Fr Luke can hear everybody's Confession if you leave it till Sunday, or arrive just before 10.00 a.m.
