On the 27th September, there will be a cake sale after the 11.30am mass at SS Peter and Paul's church. All proceeds will go to Macmillan cancer support.

On Bank Holiday Monday, St Anne and Blessed Dominic will be holding their annual pilgrimage Mass to honour Blessed Dominic Barberi.

Mass is at 12pm and will be celebrated by Bishop Tom Neylon. All are very welcome!

28th August (Fri) we are holding a meeting for all interested in fundraising for next year's pilgrimage to Lourdes with the Archdiocese of Liverpool. 7pm in the Church side chapel. All new, interested pilgrims welcome. Approximate cost, full board is around £1200 pp, 8 nights. It's expensive so fundraising is necessary to help fund it for all

On the Feast of the Assumption of Mary, we remember the witness of the first followers of Jesus and continue to ask for their prayers and intercession as a community of the faithful, who witness to the justice of God today on behalf of the poorest amongst us.

"Mary, mother of every heart, accept all that I am and bring me closer to you with bonds of hope and love, that I may be yours forever, and may be united to Jesus as you were. My Mother, assumed into Heaven, I love you. Give me a greater love for Jesus and for you as his faithful witness." Amen.
