Our Monday evening and Tuesday afternoon Bible study groups begin this coming week! Come along as we discover more about who Jesus is through Luke's gospel.

The Bible study group will be led by Rev'd Lizzy. You might want to bring along a notepad, pen and your own Bible to get the most out of the sessions.

Please read the passage for the session before we start. You can either do that in the week leading up to it or come 15 minutes early to have some quiet time to read.

The passages are:
W/C 7th September: Luke 1:39-3:38
W/C 14th September: Luke 4:38-7:35
W/C 21st September: Luke 8:4-56
W/C 28th September: Luke 9:37-13:17
W/C 5th October: Luke 13:31-19:27

Our children’s and youth groups are back on 😊

During our 10:30am service we currently have Creche in the centenary rooms (under 3’s), First steps (3-5) in the hub, Smiley (years 1-3) in the hall, JAM (years 4-6) in Bishop Martin and Pathfinders (years 7-9) in the hub. We also have our CYFA group on a Sunday evening 7-8pm in the hub (years 10-13).

All groups offer a safe space to make friends, ask questions, explore faith and have fun! You can read more about each group and get signed up on our website.

Over the next couple of months, we will be sharing short faith stories from members of our church congregation.

These testimonies share how each person came to faith in Jesus. All unique and all wonderfully special.

It can take a bit of bravery to share a testimony publicly, but we believe that, in doing so, it helps others feel less alone, renews and ignites faith, and speaks to the underlying truth in Jesus Christ that unites us all.

We would love to share your story, so if you’re willing, please message us over here or let Rev’d Lizzy know at church, and we will arrange a time to film with you.

The beginning of September marks a season in the church where we celebrate how amazing the world is and give thanks for all that God has made.

This is a season of joy but also one of challenge as we remember our call to love and care for one another and the world around us.

On Sunday we said goodbye to our curate David as he moves to carry on his training at Christ Church and Holy Trinity Walton Breck.

It has been a joy to have him with us for the last year and we pray God's blessing on him as he continues to discover how God is shaping his future ministry and equipping him now.
