St. James in the City

St. James in the City is an Anglican church in Liverpool city centre; developing a contemporary model of church in response to a modern city culture.

We seek to serve the members of our local community including youth and students in the area by working with universities, schools and charities in Liverpool. Using our Church core values which are 'Love, Live, Grow, Serve and Build' our vision is to help people spiritually, emotionally and physically to spread the Good News of Jesus.

Here's whats coming up ➡️➡️

Our Regular services are continuing at 10:30am and 4:00pm! There's worship, teaching, prayer, response, community, and coffee.

2/3 is back this Monday! Come and Join our 20s and 30s community for community, food and discussion. You are so welcome!

We LOVE coffee at St James, so why don't you stick around after our Sunday service on the 13th, and we'll head over to Parliament Square Coffee for some community!

Students is also back, and we have a wide variety of events on throughout freshers and onwards into term! Follow us on Students @ St James in the City to see what's on!

Student lunches will begin on the 20th and if you're new to Liverpool, and a student any university we've got your Sunday lunch plans sorted! Hang around after the 10:30am Service!

Kingdom Come is our time to gather as a church and worship together, a little more than we can on a Sunday. Come with an open heart, a hunger for the Lord, and we're so expectant for what God is going to do!
