What a brilliant night at Celebrate Recovery Halewood!

Tonight we had the privilege of welcoming Bishop Simon, who came to share his testimony with us. And what a testimony it was!

Honest, moving and full of hope.

It means a lot to have a bishop come and spend an evening with our recovery community, not just to see what’s happening, but to share something of his own journey too.

A massive thank you to Bishop Simon for his honesty, humility, encouragement and for being part of what God is doing here in Halewood.

We’re so grateful!

Tomorrow night is testimony night at Celebrate Recovery!

We’ve got a guest joining us to share his story, and we’re really looking forward to hearing it.

If you’ve been thinking about coming along but haven’t quite made it yet, why not give tomorrow a go?

No pressure, no expectations. Just come as you are.

Powerlessness is not giving up. It’s Giving over.

This is where James began our teaching this week.

One of the hardest things any of us can do is admit that we can’t do life on our own. We spend so much energy trying to hold everything together, but real freedom begins when we stop pretending and start being honest.

Recovery isn’t about having it all sorted. It’s about taking the next step, finding hope, and discovering that we don’t have to walk the journey alone.

Wherever you are and whatever you’re facing, there is hope and there is always a seat for you.

Celebrate Recovery meets every Tuesday at 6:30 at St Mary’s Church Halewood. We’d love to welcome you.

Every Tuesday, people walk through the doors of CR for all sorts of reasons.

Different stories. Different struggles. Different stages of life.

No pretending you’ve got it all together. No judgement. Just a place to be honest, find community and take the next step.

Whatever your hurt, habit or hang-up, there’s a seat for you.

Tuesday nights at St Mary’s, Halewood.
Refreshments from 6:30pm | Start at 7pm

A great night at CR this week.

Massive thanks to Abby for coming along and sharing her testimony with us, and to Martin for leading us in worship.

It was also great to have Matt from Emmanuel Theological College visiting us and seeing a bit of what happens at CR each Tuesday.

Really grateful for everyone who came, helped out and made it such a good night.

This Tuesday we’ve got a special guest joining us at CR Halewood.

Abby is coming to share her testimony — and it’s quite a story.

She’ll be speaking honestly about where she’s been, what she’s come through, and the difference Jesus and recovery have made along the way.

Come and hear it for yourself.

Last night reminded us what grace looks like.

A table. People still on the journey. And Jesus meeting us right in the middle of it.

Not because we’ve got it all sorted.
Not because we’ve earned our place.

Simply because Christ says, come.

There’s a place at the table.
