At Liberti, we always start the year with a week of prayer and fasting. We want to bring our praises and pleas to the Lord in a posture of faith and expectation, anticipating His sovereign provision.

This year, we’re entering into our Week of Prayer acknowledging the year we’ve just had, and the place many of us find ourselves. 2025 was hard - many of us walked through times of loneliness, suffering, depression, grief, disappointment, or continued struggle with sin, and a lot of us are still carrying the weight of those struggles.

The privilege of prayer is that we get to come to our Father as we are. He doesn’t expect us to ignore our circumstances but invites us to bring them to Him. So this week, that’s what we’ll do.

Together we’ll move through moments of confession, repentance, lament, unity and petition with an opportunity to gather together some evenings. And as always, we’ll end with 24 hours of unbroken prayer.

🎉 IN 2026 YOU ARE INVITED 🎉 to join us SUNDAYS 4PM for our Liberti Church Lark Lane Sunday Gathering at the Hamlet building on Livingston Drive, tucked just behind Sefton Park Library, a 2 min walk from the bottom of Lark Lane!

We are a family of followers of Jesus that exists for God’s glory in welcoming you, serving you, and introducing you to faith, relationship and freedom in God!

We wholeheartedly believe that “God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, Jesus Christ, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but shall have everlasting life” (John 3:16), meaning that “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Romans 10) and that He “is a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love” (Exodus 34) - so we want to extend that heart of love and hand of salvation to any who would come. So you are warmly invited!

Free refreshments are provided at the door, as well as a free Kids Church & Creche service during the service.

The joy of Christmas doesn’t end with yesterday’s seasonal festivities. Christmas is just the beginning. For all of us who know Christ, this joy is freely ours every single day of our lives from the second we are born again and transformed within through faith in Him!
