Our staff team really enjoyed the Renew Conference last week. We were encouraged by teaching on prayer and reminded how essential it is in the life of the church. It was also a joy to hear how God is at work across the country, planting churches and strengthening gospel ministry for the long term 🙌🏻

Let us welcome you 😁
If you're coming to Liverpool, we'd love to make the transition as easy as possible for you.

We can answer questions about life as a student in Liverpool, look out for you when you arrive, offer a helping hand, introduce you to some people we think you'll enjoy getting to know, invite you round for dinner, or just make sure we're there for you if things get hard.

We’ve also got ‘Pizza and Puddings’ at church and ‘Welcome Lunches’ on Sundays
There’ll be games to play, time to get to know other students, and hear what’s on offer at St Philemon’s.

Stick around after the 10.30am service for lunch & time to meet people from church…. all info and dates below 👇🏻

Welcome to our community and church 😁

As we heard in the last of our series of talks on prayer earlier in the summer, prayer is something we do with other Christians. We would love you to join with your Christian brothers and sisters to talk to our Father in heaven this Thursday evening, 7:45-8:45pm

If you have been wondering why you haven’t seen or heard from Alice then here is the ‘Why’ 😁

Alice is on sabbatical for 3 months.
She’ll be spending time in Turkey through June and July and in August she’ll be on holiday with her family.
She’s aiming to have a ‘tech detox’ and be off screens as much as possible so don’t be offended when you message her and don’t get an answer. It won’t actually reach her phone until the start of September because her English SIM won’t be in her phone.

She’d love you to pray that God would teach her lots and grow her relationship with Him and we will look forward to be together again in September 🤍
