We had a fun week partnering with DBU Womens Golf DBU Mens Golf and Home Church as we led a children’s sports and Bible club and youth outreach events. Lots of fun games and competitions were played, the Good News was shared and many responses were given. Amazing! The team also got to play some amazing championship golf courses while in Scotland…

Our team had a wonderful time partnering with Salt Factory Sports Kenya, as we led sports camps in schools and communities, shared the Gospel with hundreds of children and youth and helped renovate a young offenders institution. Saw some pretty cool animals too!

We had the privilege of partnering with Namwianga Mission in Kolomo, Zambia, supporting their work with . We ran a Holiday Bible Club for the children in the community where we played games, danced to everything from the Waka Waka to Sovereign Grace Worship, and learned incredible parables from the Bible. We ran a sports club in the afternoon with tournaments in football, basketball, netball and tedball. Our team fell in love with the people and the beautiful blue sky. Joy, fun and laughter filled our time in Zambia. We learned new games and songs that our SFS team can bring to a sports field near you! Thank you to everyone at Namwianga Mission for welcoming us and allowing us to be part of your dream team.

Our New Horizon team 🙌

Throughout the week, we spent time serving across the local community, including at Portstewart Primary School, PORTSTEWART BAPTIST, Mountsandel Church and Mountsandel Community Garden. We helped with community work and getting things ready for the new school year, including gardening, weeding, cutting grass, trimming hedges, decorating rooms, cleaning toys and classrooms, and much more!

Then, each evening, we headed back to New Horizon to get set up for kids club before delivering an energetic, fun-filled programme for the children!

A week of serving our community, growing together and sharing the love of Jesus.

We loved partnering with YWAM Kansas City and KCK United to lead soccer camps, share the Gospel and help with facility maintenance while on our USA mission team earlier this summer!

Islandmagee, Ballycarry, Whitehead what a week!

We had two amazing teams serving together in the community, NEWLIFE CHURCH and Fellowship Community Church bringing plenty of energy, fun and faith.

Throughout the week the teams helped lead a Holiday Bible Club at a local school, creating a fun space for kids to play, learn and explore what it means to follow Jesus.

In the evenings they ran a youth programme, spending time with local young people through games, activities, conversations and plenty of laughs.

It was a week full of new friendships, fun, and opportunities to share the Gospel and serve the community.

A huge thank you to both teams for giving their time, energy and hearts! ♥️

It was a very sad day for Salt Factory Sports as we said goodbye to our longtime, faithful colleague and friend, Raymond.

For so many years, Raymond has poured his time, energy and heart into serving at Salt Factory Sports. His impact reaches far beyond the work he has done — it can be seen in the thousands of children whose lives he has influenced, the countless team members he has served alongside, the staff he has encouraged, and in every person who has had the privilege of meeting him.

Raymond has given so much of himself to others. His faithfulness, kindness, humour and willingness to serve have left a mark on Salt Factory Sports that will not be forgotten.

We don’t think Raymond will ever fully know just how many lives he has impacted over the years. From the thousands of kids he has encouraged and influenced, to the team members and staff he has served alongside, his presence has made a difference in more lives than he could ever know.

He will be deeply missed by the children he has served, the teams he has welcomed, the staff he has worked alongside, and by everyone who has come to know and love him.

We are incredibly grateful for the years, the memories and the countless lives Raymond has touched.

Thank you for everything, Raymond. You will be sorely missed. ❤️

We recently partnered with SFS US to run soccer camps in the midwest, building on the excitement around the FIFA World Cup. Great to see our coaches developing young players on and off the pitch, and getting to share the Good News with hundreds of children and youth across the week.
