Sorry Brethren forgot to thank Lynn and John for their hospitality yesterday. It was very much appreciated. Tradition is a wonderful thing.

Some information from our meeting on Monday night.
It is with great saddness that I have to report the death of our oldest member Brother Sammy Fleming. A loyal member of Flowerhill he was just 3 weeks short of his 103rd birthday. The deepest sympathy of the WM Officers and Brethren go to his family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

The lodge was awarded the trophy for the best banner on parade at the 12th demonstration at Magheragall. It depicts Sir Henry Wilson on the front and Hillhall Church on the rear.

Here is also a picture of some of our Brethren on the 12th day.

As the Grand Master and Grand Lodge have quite rightly suspended all meetings and as we are a lodge of a lot of elderly members It would be beneficial if they were contacted to see if they require anything. Remember this is going to last weeks. Although I am at risk I can be contacted via facebook and by family will be of assistance if possible. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Until we meet again Brethren please stay safe.

The annual harvest service takes place this Sunday night 29th at 8.00pm in Flowerhill Orange Hall. The speaker is the Rev. Paul Jamison of Hillhall Presbyterian Church. This will be the first service since the death of Bro. Jim Ferguson who had organised the service for thirty years. Lets make it a full house.

Here are some details of the arrangements for the12th. The hall will be open tonight from 7.00pm to 9.00pm. If you can come and give a hand to set the hall up for tomorrow. The hall will open at 7.00am on the 12th and we move off at 8.15am.
On behalf of the WM and Brethren of Flowerhill I would like to wish you all a very happy and peaceful 12th day.
I know tomorrow will be hard for the Brethren of Flowerhill. Since last 12th we have lost 2 of our most dedicated and loyal members Bro. Tom McWatters PM and Bro Jim Ferguson PM PDM. Their wives and families will be in our thoughts and prayers tomorrow.
