🇬🇧 HAPPY ULSTER DAY! 🇬🇧

28th September 1912

Today we remember Ulster Day, when hundreds of thousands of people signed Ulster’s Solemn League and Covenant, while women signed the associated Women’s Declaration, in opposition to the Third Home Rule Bill.

The signing took place on Saturday, 28th September 1912. The event became a significant moment in the political history of Ulster.

Ballinderry First WLOL 35 remembers this important chapter in our local heritage.
