Life Church Youth is…

A place to encounter Jesus

Jesus said that when two or three people meet together He is there with them. God has a purpose for each one of us – to become more like Jesus. When we meet, our goal is to encounter Jesus and

in that encounter experience his life changing power. We do this as we pray, worship, learn from the Bible and share together. A place to grow

The apostle Paul said that it was his goal to present everyone mature in Christ, and that must be our aim too. We want to create an environment within our groups that facilitate growth in every individual’s life. A place to give

Groups should be a place where everyone has plenty of opportunities to participate. Each person has gifts and talents that they can contribute to the group. Life Church Youth provides a space where young people can learn to exercise spiritual gifts, where we can serve one another and offer encouragement. A place to reach out

No one group within church should become exclusively for a few Christians; they need to be inclusive of those who have not committed their life to Christ. Young people who are not yet Christians are able to become part of our group life before they have made a definite commitment to Christ. The group therefore becomes a place of discovery. A place to belong

Life Church Youth is more than a meeting. A group needs to develop as a community that is built on strong, caring relationships; a place where we can be open. Life Church Youth puts loving one another at the forefront of everything we do, and building ‘Family’. A place to have fun

Life Church Youth is fun, creative and dynamic. We always make time for fun, laughter and fellowship. We also ensure we have regular socials which are a great opportunity to bring your friends. We provide two types of youth provision at Life Church, Lincoln:

1. Friday Night Youth – We meet every Friday in various venues across the community to meet together to have fellowship, fun and to learn more about WHO Jesus is, what He came to do and what that has to do with us!! 7.30pm – 9.30pm for Ages 11+.

2. Sunday Morning Focus – We meet twice monthly during the morning service from 10am at the Life Church, 127 Birchwood Avenue, Lincoln, LN6 0JE. During these sessions we plunge deeper into Gods word in a creative and dynamic environment, full of fun. For more details please contact us on 01522 694694 or email us at [email protected]

On Tuesday one of our youth leaders, Kelly, had the privilege of going into SSPP to support the Message Trust as they delivered workshops on resilience and wellbeing. The workshops were delivered by an amazing band called OTC. The schools tour will culminate in a gig on Friday night which is being hosted at Alive. We would love all our youth to go! We will be meeting outside Alive at 6.45. Tickets are £3 and the cost of the tickets will be covered by our youth budget. It will finish around 9 o’clock abs the youth will need to be collected. Please encourage your guys to come along to hear the great music, testimonies and gospel message and encourage them to bring their friends 😃
