What a fantastic first session back after Easter! A huge welcome as well to all the new families and babies who joined us.
Mondayā€™s session was a special one as we celebrated Louisā€™ first birthday! We all enjoyed cake, singing Happy Birthday, and playing with new friends.
We also started learning about Abraham, played Follow the Leader around the church, and even had time for a parachute tentā€¦ wow, what fun!
Just a little reminder that due to the Bank Holiday we wonā€™t be open this Monday 4th, but weā€™ll be back on the 11th and 18th before we break up for May half term. Itā€™s a short half term, but weā€™re really looking forward to getting outside more as the weather warms up, so thereā€™s lots to look forward to.

We are really egg-sited about Saturdays Easter egg hunt. Itā€™s going to be a fun adventure taking you all around the village (push chair friendly route) There may even be some surprise special eggs hidden for a special prize! Thereā€™s Tea and cake at the church for when youā€™ve worked up an appetite! 10am-13:00 See you there xx

Sorry it's been a bit quieter here than usual. Here's a few little pictures from the last few weeks! We've been very busy as usual and learned all about Noah's Ark and trusting God. Now the children are fascinated, listening so well to the Easter story. The children have loved hearing all about the Easter garden, we waved palms, and shared crackers with our friends to symbolise the last supper. We celebrated when Jesus had risen from the tomb!
Who thought Easter was so much more than Easter eggs!
Easter is a busy time for our lovely church so keep your eyes peeled for all of the upcoming events.
We would also like to welcome the new families warmly, it is such a amazing addition to the group and it's great to see the baby area getting busy!

We would like to invite our families to enjoy another family service on the 22nd Feb at 4pm. We had so much fun at the Crib service on Christmas eve! Expect the same level of energy and fun made all the brighter for having the little ones alongside, brightening up the church. All welcome, see you there šŸŒˆ

And just like that is a wrap for the first term at Mini St Michael's in 2026! Time flies when you're having fun. So much fun was had, we didn't get many photos! Each week we built familiarity with the Story of creation. We even made a gratitude tree to put on display and remember all of the amazing things God had made for us to be grateful for. It's so beautiful to see the Children growing in confidence, and building relationships. Thank you to everyone who attends week on week, supports and sings silly songs with us! What a great space for children to thrive!
If you're looking for somewhere to go on a Monday morning with the children, then come along. We are even developing a new baby corner to welcome our miniest on Mini St Michael's goers! Have a wonderful half term and we look forward to opening the doors on the 24th Feb for the run up to Easter šŸ˜ šŸŒˆšŸ’

ā‡ļøThis Monday the 19th we won't be in the church. Sylvia and a few others are meeting at Whisby Nature park at 10am.
šŸŒˆThe indoor play area is Ā£1 for an hour's play and there is the cafe next for refreshments.
