They thought they'd killed him.
They thought they'd got rid of the one who challenged and surprised them.
They assumed he was dead - and buried.
Safely entombed, wrapped in his shroud.
But on this day, just as the sun was rising, they discovered that not even death could hold him.
The tomb was empty.
Jesus was alive! He was risen!

Christ has died!
Christ has risen!
Christ will come again!

This evening is our Community Carol Service at 6.30pm at our hall, 106 High St Lincoln. This year we are joining with Central Methodist Church and St Peter at Gowts Church. We have the joy of Bishop King School Choir taking part and we will be taking a collection to support the work of the Lincoln Branch of Samaritans and there will be refreshments with mince pies afterwards
