It is that time of the year when Revd Canon Alan Robson is out and about at Harvest Festivals.

Yesterday it was the Lincoln Methodist Circuit Harvest Festival, Deacon Helen was at Moorland Park, John Smith and Andrew Laughton spoke excellently about this past year's challenges and the central message of Food Security.

Have you been to a Harvest Festival yet?

Is there something or someone particular on your heart and mind? Sometimes remembering someone in a practical way, shown in some sort of action can be helpful, to bring a sense of peace and healing.

This weekend, as we prepare to celebrate Palm Sunday and journey through Easter Week to Easter Sunday, we want to help you remember well.

As you enter our car park at 46 Skellingthorpe Road, you'll see that Peter has placed a cross on our tree near the gateway.
This afternoon, there will appear with it, some fresh flowers.

Whatever your reason, you are welcome to come and take a flower to place in the cross as you think of something or someone special. This is our gift to you this Easter time. Equally, if you'd like to bring your own flower or provide some for others to share, then you are welcome.

You don't have to share the who or why, but if you'd like to, maybe to encourage others or so we can pray for you too, with confidentiality respected and to gain support, then you can: My mobile number is 07958 940 263. My email address is [email protected].

On Good Friday, to mark it as a significant day, some purple ribbons will be added to the cross but your flowers will remain.

With love and every blessing as we celebrate together in community, Deacon Helen x
