Sunday 14th June: Holy Communion
We will celebrate Holy Communion in Limekilns Church.
Communion Collection
The Communion Collection on 14th June will be for Camas – a very special outdoor centre.
Camas is the Iona Community’s outdoor activity centre on Mull. Camas has a strong focus on building community and connection with each other and with our surroundings. We have a particular mission to work with vulnerable young people from marginalised and disadvantaged communities. Camas is home to a team of staff and volunteers who welcome guests to share a simple way of life. The centre is housed in 200-year-old cottages which nestle in a beautiful bay on the Ross of Mull. The shore, garden and woodland provide an incredible setting for personal challenge and community growth. Camas is raising funds to enable this special work to continue.
More information can be found by Googling 'Camas Companions' or by speaking to Meg Hardie, whose son volunteered at Camas.
Sunday Services
We will hold joint services every week at 10.30am in Limekilns on the 2nd and 4th Sundays and Cairneyhill on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month. Where there is a 5th Sunday (in May, August and November this year) services will be in Limekilns or Cairneyhill alternately.
Everyone is encouraged to travel to Cairneyhill when the service is taking place there, and car sharing is recommended. We will have visiting preachers to lead worship on certain Sundays and our Worship Teams will also be involved. Services will also continue to be streamed and available to view online either live or as a recording
