Today we concluded our study on Joseph …
Joseph was betrayed by his brothers and sold to Egypt, but God raised him up to save many lives from famine and he forgave his brothers.

"I am Joseph!... Come near to me... Do not be distressed... for God sent me before you to preserve life." — Genesis 45:4-5

He forgives them completely, hugs them, and provides for them.

If you are in a hard place, or waiting, or hurt by someone close: God hasn’t finished your story, and He calls you to live like Joseph — live by faith trusting His bigger plan and choosing forgiveness that speaks louder than a sermon. “But God sent me ahead of you to preserve for you a remnant on earth and to save your lives by a great deliverance." — Genesis 45:7

After Jacob dies, his brothers fear revenge. Joseph weeps and forgives again, saying: ‘You meant evil, but God meant it for good to save many lives’. Today it teaches us forgiveness must be re-chosen, God redeems hurt for good, and true faith looks beyond present comfort to God's eternal future promise.

From one childless man Abraham, God made a great people and promised them a land, which Joseph believed they would return to.

From Abraham’s line of Judah came Jesus, the King who brings blessing to all nations.

The last number of weeks we’ve been looking at the story of Joseph and the importance of building on the right foundation.

Joseph was a slave in Potiphar’s house, yet “the Lord was with Joseph” and blessed all he did. When tempted to sin, Joseph refused, saying he would not “sin against God.” Though falsely accused and imprisoned, he remained faithful.

Joseph shows us the foundation that lasts: God’s presence, God’s Word, and obedience even when it costs. When we build our lives on Christ, the storms may come, but our house will stand. Matthew 7:24
