Come and join us on Sunday for worship

9am | RISE Breakfast. A free breakfast awaits you, with friendly conversation, a short reflection/talk on a theme, and uplifting music. This week we are chatting about "Running the Race" - life can feel like one long marathon that is never ending. Where does faith fit into the race, and how does it keep us going?

10:30am | Morning worship. This service will be following the Bible month theme of exploring "Philippians" (a book in the bible), and this week Rev. Alan and Deacon Janet Jenkins will be leading us in thoughts around the second chapter. During this service, there will be children's provisions for the young people to explore the reading in age appropriate activities.

This Sunday, there will only be one service at 10:30am, led by Rev. Mark Stennett. This service will have children's provisions for young people to explore the bible reading in age appropriate activities.

There will be no 9am service - it would usually have been a RISE breakfast, but members of the team are away, including some being at . For those going to Cliff Fest, we pray they have a wonderful time worshipping, discovering and exploring through the Cliff Fest theme: "Our Story, Our Song"!

What's going on at Lichfield Methodist Church this week?

☕ Methodist Cafe - open Tuesday and Saturday, 10am-12pm. Open for Tea & Toast, Coffee & Cake, and Friendly Conversation. Come by yourself, or come with a friend, there's seat at the table for you.

🧸 Tiddlers Toddlers - Wednesday, 10am-11:45am. Stay and Play group for Babies/Toddlers with Parents/Grandparents/Carers. £2.50 per session. This will be the last session of this half term - next week the team will be having a well deserved break.

What's happening this weekend at Lichfield Methodist Church?

Saturday - "CHARITY BREAKAST" in aid of Christian Aid
🕘 Cafe Open 9am - 12pm, for Bacon Butties, Pain au Chocolat/Croissants, and the usual Cafe Fare.
❤️ All are welcome to come along and support.
For those that usually attend Men's Breakfast in The Acorn pub, this week the social gathering will happen in the Methodist Cafe.

Sunday Services
✝️ 9am: Early Morning Service, led by Kevin Barry.
Alongside this service, in the lower hall, Gemma will be leading Parenting for Faith - a group designed to equip Parents and Carers to raise God-Connected children and teens. For more information, please get in touch.
🛐 10:30am: Communion Service, led by Rev. Mark Stennett.
During this worship, there will be children's provisions for young people to explore the bible reading in age appropriate activities.

☕ The Brews: Coffee, a selection of herbal Teas, and proper "builder’s" Tea in a big mug.

Whether you’re looking for a quiet corner to read or a friendly face to chat with, there’s a seat (and a slice of cake) with your name on it. Everything on our counter is homemade with love, and we’ve got the kettle whistling.
