St Thomas a Becket at Cliffe, Lewes St Thomas à Becket is an ancient and peaceful church, situated at the end of Cliffe High Street in the East Sussex county town of Lewes.

St Thomas a Beckett is an ancient and peaceful church,situated at the end of Cliffe High Street. Our traditional sung service, every Sunday at 9.45am, follows the 1662 Book of Common Prayer and the Authorised version of the Bible, with communion and hymns. The church is open all day every day from 9am to 6pm to visit and for private prayer. The friendly congregation also offer a range of social ac

tivities in the adjacent Cliffe Hall( mostly still suspended, but tea and coffee after the Sunday service re-starts on 13th Feb). We look forward to welcoming you to this oasis of calm and tranquility , whether for a visit, meditation, or private prayer.
