Loneliness can be loud, even in a crowded room.

This week has been both Loneliness Awareness Week and Men’s Health Week, and today is Father’s Day - a timely reminder that many people, especially men, can struggle silently rather than say, “I’m not okay.”

So here is a small challenge for today: message one person you haven’t heard from in a while. Not with pressure. Just with warmth.

“Thought of you today. Fancy meeting for a catch-up?”

Connection will not fix everything. But sometimes it opens the door to the help someone needs.

Join us in prayer a Pride Month, shared by Pam Gold, Coordinator of the Solidarity Circle for LGBT+

Loving God we thank you for the richness of Diversity which you have created.
As we go through the month of June, when the LGBTQ+ community celebrate Pride, we ask of you:
Teach us the real meaning of 'All are welcome' where all are fully and richly included in every aspect of our Christian Lives.
Reach out to those who do not know you yet but are seeking.
Work on the hearts of those who cannot accept us, that they may have a change of heart and mandate a willingness to be inclusive.
We thank you God for the love you give and we trust that even now hearts are being touched by the power of your Holy Spirit.
Amen.

Another great pop-up at Wallands School yesterday. We will be there most Mondays with surplus food FREE for carers, teachers and children.

Donations are really welcome but the main priority here is to prevent food waste and make sure this food gets eaten!

We work with FareShare Sussex & Surrey who are a charity that redistributes food that otherwise might be wasted. What better way than to give it out at the school gates to all those children hungry from all the learning!!

(not on next week due to Bank Holiday, or the week after due to staff absence, but will be back in the playground on the 8th of June! Bring a bag and see you there!)
