Been reading a great book based on the prodigal son parable .
God as Father by Eitan Barr .
Luke 15 v 28 " This verse reminds us that God sees, values, and reaches out to all – those who have strayed and those who have stayed."
I have both stayed and strayed and God never fails to draw me back and love on me.

Sitting praying and watching the washing being blown about. I realised I felt like the washing. Blown about by circumstances and feelings . I felt like, little, or no substance to me. Full of wind. I was feeling sad and discouraged and rejected. But then my mind started to sing Ian white's Psalm 42. Verse 11 - Why are you so sad, my soul, why so disturbed within me. Put your hope in God and I will yet praise you , my saviour and my God. Guitar out!! He is an anchor whatever the storm.

No judgement but we are not our possessions! We have real value. Just us. Not stuff, not houses, not cars, not jobs, not family or connections. Just me, just you.
