2026/1741 Planning permission at Lenwade House Hotel.
There has been considerable interest in the planning application seeking permission to change the use of part of Lenwade House Hotel into a 20-room House in Multiple Occupation (HMO).
Residents who wish to comment on the application are encouraged to submit their views directly to Broadland District Council’s Planning Department.
Comments can be made either through the Council’s online planning portal (which has a 2,500-word limit) or by email. Details of how to respond can be found in the accompanying letter.
The closing date for comments is 14 August. If you submit your comments through the online planning portal, you will receive an acknowledgement and receive updates on the application.
Great Witchingham Parish Council is a statutory consultee in the planning process. This means the Parish Council has the opportunity to submit its comments on the application, but it does not have the authority to determine whether the application is approved or refused. The decision rests with Broadland District Council as the Local Planning Authority.
