Meet the team walking from Kent to Sizewell! "Hi everyone, we’re Joe, Tim, Ben and Zach, from Otford Manor, the home of Oak Hall Expeditions. We’re currently serving on the Oak Hall gap year program, where we get to study God’s Word, and serve both here at the Manor and on some of the expeditions.
On Friday the 22nd of May, we’ll be walking to Sizewell Hall, arriving on Monday the 25th, to help raise money for Sizewell Hall as they look to purchase their building.
We would really appreciate your support in these 4 ways as we look to complete this challenge; Firstly, we would value your prayers, that we would stay protected and free from injury, the weather conditions would be manageable and all will go according to plan. Secondly, we would love your financial support. All money raised will go to Sizewell Hall’s fundraising campaign to purchase their property, you can find the link below. Thirdly, it’d be great to interact with you throughout the walk. We’ll be taking over the Sizewell Hall social media pages, and it’d be great to engage with you online to provide you with updates and to keep us motivated.
Finally, our last walk will be from Portman Road Stadium in Ipswich, and we’d love for some of you to join us for the walk if you are willing and able. We’ll be leaving at around 7:30am, to be at Sizewell for the finish line event later in the day. If you’d like to join us, please ensure that you're able to walk around 3 miles per hour for 26 miles. You will also need to bring your own food, water & appropriate walking attire, and arrange transport back from Sizewell Hall. Please get in touch with the hall with the contact details below if you are interested, so we can make sure we have adequate support available for you to complete the walk.

Join us at the finish line at Sizewell Hall on Bank Holiday Monday 25th May 2026 from 4:30 - 7:30pm. We want to give them a warm welcome when they arrive at the hall and so we would love for you to join us at the finish line, to cheer them on as they complete their journey!
Alongside the finish line we will have drinks available, activities, an opportunity to find out more about how the fundraising is going and ask us any questions.The gift/book shop will also be open throughout the event. So although we arent able to provide food as its a free non-ticketed event, there will be ice creams and snacks available for purchase in the shop, however, please do bring food with you if you wish.
