The original drawing for the external handrails to the front of the church. Designed, manufactured, and installed by Brian Wills in 1981. Other than a new lick of paint the handrails remain as they were when fitted. If a job is worth doing, it is worth doing well.

The original sketch by RG Barker for the mural in the church. The proposal was accepted and the mural completed c.1912. It remained in place before being painted over in the 1960s. However, the sentiment, from Psalm 96:6, will remain forever.

SUFFRAGETTE is an intense drama that tracks the story of the foot soldiers of the early feminist movement as they fought for the right to vote, women who were forced underground to pursue a dangerous game of cat and mouse with an increasingly brutal State. These women were not primarily from the genteel educated classes, they were working women who had seen peaceful protest achieve nothing. Radicalised and turning to violence as the only route to change, they were willing to lose everything in their fight for equality - their jobs, their homes, their children and their lives. Maud is one such foot soldier. The story of her fight for dignity is both heart-breaking and inspirational.

This desk slope belonged to and was used by the Reverend PT Forsyth MA, first Minister of Clarendon Park Congregational Church, 1888-1894. It was given to the Congregational Union of England and Wales by Mrs Jessie Forsyth, to be housed in Memorial Hall, Farringdon Street, London. With the removal of all furnishings from there to the Congregational Centre in Nottingham in 1982, this church was invited by the Congregational Federation to be the custodian of the slope.
