The 2nd February is the Presentation of Christ in the Temple (Candlemas)- Feast of his dedication to God, in fulfillment of Jewish law, and recognition of Him as Messiah - The Light to the nations.

What Christians need is to be united in brotherly love, and then they may expect to have power.” The power to shine the Light; and that Light is Jesus Christ.
For the people who walk in darkness still need to see a great light. And that light shines brightest when the body of Christ walks as one.

Fourth Sunday of Advent -Advent of Love. Lord of promise and fulfillment, as Advent candles fade into Christmas light, ready our hearts to welcome Emmanuel. Teach us patient hope, generous love, and joyful peace. May Christ be born anew in our lives, as we wait, worship, and rejoice in your saving grace together. Amen.
