Our meeting on 31st May was led by Lieut. Colonel George Pilkington on the theme ‘Focus on Jesus’ taking us through the Bible from Advent to Pentecost with readings from Isaiah, Mark Luke, John and Acts. During the service we watched a video presentation with Amy Fraser produced by THQ. There were three presentations too: Janet Cook, acknowledging 30 years as Corps Registrar, Naomi Cook a certificate as a Children’s Worker and Phil Davis as Children’s Advocate. God Bless you.

Tomorrow Sunday 24th May we celebrate Pentecost, 50 days after Easter. We are commemorating the descent of the Holy Spirit on the apostles and other followers of Jesus, an event that empowered them. Widely celebrated today as the Birth of the Christian Church. Do join us for fellowship and a lot of singing!!

Our meeting will be led by Songster Leader Siobhan Fraser and Bandmaster Steve Jones with the Bible verses from Acts Chapter 2.

Two of our Congregational songs were led by Tom Slader and Graham with their guitars. Our meeting concluded with the hymn ‘When We Cannot see our Way’ - using the hymn tune ‘Trusting as the Moments Fly'
