With the blessing of His Eminence Archbishop Nikitas, Christian Orthodox Thyateira Youth (COTY) is organising a day pilgrimage to the Holy Patriarchal and Stavropegic Monastery of St John the Baptist in Essex, followed by a visit and recreation at Southend-on-Sea, on Saturday 13 June 2026.

The coach will depart from and return to the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Dormition of the Theotokos, Wood Green, London.

The cost of the trip is £32.34 (£30.00 plus £2.34 booking fee), and tickets may be purchased online using the following link:

The pilgrimage is open to young people aged 16-35 and offers a valuable opportunity for prayer, reflection, fellowship, and spiritual renewal at the Monastery, followed by time together by the coast.
