Our eyes are complex organs which respond to light of varying brightness and differing colours. They can track rapid movement, focus on objects near and far, and send signals for our brain to interpret. They give us a detailed picture of our surroundings. Life is much more difficult without sight.
There is a different kind of sight which depends on faith in God. This enables us to see clearly things which are invisible to our natural eyes, but are absolutely real because God has promised them. So, the Bible speaks of faithful people like this.
All these people were still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance, admitting that they were foreigners and strangers on earth. Hebrews ch 11 v 13
Rewards will be given when Jesus, the light of the world returns to earth. Eternal Life is impossible without faith.

3 May 2026 Bible Feed Podcast (Video Edition)

Recorded during Autism Acceptance Month, Dan welcomes back Becky Lewis to talk about all things neurodiversity in relation to the church and matters of faith. Following on from a recent awareness day that Becky ran for the Christadelphian Support Network, they both explain their own lived experiences and discuss the challenges and strengths that can come from autism, ADHD and dyslexia. We hope this can be a helpful episode to everyone, whether familiar with neurodivergence or not, to help us all build unity in diversity in the church and the body of Christ.

One of the relatives of a member at Westleigh is a talented artist in the Ukraine. We post a painting he is currently working on, "The Prodigal Son". Each one takes several weeks.

If you know of anyone who would be interested in commissioning a suitable artwork (he prefers to do Bible-related paintings but could consider other subjects) please send a message to our inbox.

As Jesus continued His ministry, crowds gathered wherever He went. They came from towns and villages, bringing with them the sick, the broken, and those burdened in ways no one else could see.

He healed many. The blind received their sight, the lame walked, and those afflicted with disease were made whole. But these were not simply acts of compassion. They revealed something deeper. Authority had come among them.

A man paralysed from birth was brought to Jesus by his friends. Unable to reach Him because of the crowd, they lowered the man through the roof. Seeing their faith, Jesus first spoke words that surprised everyone.

“Son, your sins are forgiven.”

Some questioned this in their hearts. Who could forgive sins but God alone? But Jesus, knowing their thoughts, said, “Which is easier: to say your sins are forgiven, or to say, get up and walk?” Then, to show His authority, He told the man to rise. Immediately, he stood, took his mat, and walked out before them all.

On another occasion, a Roman centurion sent word to Jesus, asking for his servant to be healed. He did not even consider himself worthy for Jesus to come under his roof, but believed that a word alone would be enough. Jesus marvelled at his faith, and the servant was healed at a distance.

In a small town, a funeral procession was taking place. A widow had lost her only son. Moved with compassion, Jesus stopped the procession and spoke to the young man. Life returned, and he was given back to his mother. Fear and wonder spread through the crowd.

Those tormented by unclean spirits were also brought to Him. With a word, He drove out the spirits, and they obeyed Him. Even the forces that bound and oppressed could not resist His authority.

Everywhere He went, people asked the same question.

“Who is this?”

Through these acts, Jesus was not only healing bodies. He was revealing the power of God at work, restoring what had been broken and pointing forward to something greater.

The kingdom of God was not just being spoken about. It was being seen.

Another new short video today from GodsWordBibleChannel

The Bible teaches that God created the earth with intention and purpose. It was not made to be destroyed, but to be filled with His glory.

God’s plan is for the earth to become a place of peace, righteousness, and life under His kingdom. The Bible promises a future time when suffering, injustice, and death will be overcome.

Through Jesus, God invites people to be part of that coming kingdom.
