The bunting is up and the sun is out, it's time for Evington Village Fete!

There is lots going on and it would be lovely to see you there.

We were delighted to welcome the Revd Stuart Voce to our service yesterday.

It was also a special day for Rubina (Ruby) who carried the cross and helped assist with communion for the very 1st time.

We worship every Sunday at 10am and would love to see you.

Just to remind you we hold a traditional book of common prayer communion service on a Thursday morning at 10am with a short talk.

Tomorrow, Saturday 4th July the church will open in the morning for people to visit to pray, be still, spend some time in the quiet of the church and reflect on whatever is in one’s heart, particularly praying for St. Denys Church and our local area.

Come and go as you please from 10am until 12 noon. Ann our Churchwarden and Kimberley, our Authorised Minister will be present to pray with you if you wish or to be on hand to advise, guide etc. 🙏

This Sunday 21th June, we will be holding our monthly Worship for All Service at 10am.

This service, which takes place on the 3rd Sunday of each month, is designed to be accessible to all ages and looks to be more creative.

We look forward to welcoming you.

Today was a day of great celebration as we marked Geraldine's 35 years as a reader. She was gifted a lovely biblical art print and beautiful rainbow roses. Geraldine has decided to take a well earned break to discern what God wants her to do next. We would like to thank Geraldine for her dedication to St Denys and the wider community.

We also celebrated the wonderful news that our Locally Authorised Minister, Kimberley, will be commencing ordination training to become a priest, having been sucesful in her stage 2 panel. Kimberley will now undertake a 2 year college course, with time in parish, followed by a 3 year curacy. We are excited to be part of Kimberley's journey.
