Funeral Arrangement

Nirmalaben Liladhar Mehta
09 February 1934 – 17 May 2026

It is with profound sadness that we wish to inform you that Nirmalaben Liladhar Mehta passed away peacefully on Sunday 17th May 2026, surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 92. Nirmalaben Liladhar Mehta was born in Nairobi, Kenya on 9th February 1934. She married Liladhar Dayalal Mehta in 1956. In 1968 the family moved to the UK and settled in Leicester. Nirmalaben was a gentle, thoughtful and kind person, who was deeply committed to her family and friends. Her faith was of the utmost importance to her, and she was a dedicated devotee of Jain Samaj Leicester.
Nirmalaben’s presence, guidance and warmth will be greatly missed by all.

She is survived by her loving family:
Mother to Kamal Mehta, Hiten Mehta, Rajshree Shah
Mother-in-Law to Sandhya Mehta, Jayshree Mehta and Dharmesh Shah
Grandmother to Shailan Mehta, Nikeeta Colbourne, Premal Mehta, Hemali Shah, Khush Shah

n Loving Memory of Kailash Kirit Shah
23rd March 1956 - 11th April 2026

Born in Morbi, India, Kailashben was lovingly raised in Luton by her parents and cherished by her brothers, who held her close to their hearts. In 1975, she married Kiritkumar Chimanlal Shah and became a pillar of the family and a beloved daughter, mother, bhabhi, bhaboo and grandmother known for her love, care and selfless devotion to others.

She loved unconditionally, and her faith and inner strength guided her through every stage of life. With quiet dignity, compassion, and devotion, she touched the lives of all who knew her, leaving behind a lasting legacy of love, family, and faith.
She passed away peacefully, surrounded by her nearest and dearest. May her soul rest in eternal peace, and may her memory continue to bless and guide us. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered with love.
