As a church, over eight sessions, we’ll be running the Practising the Way course, learning to spend time with Jesus, become more like him, and do what he did, as we go deeper in our discipleship.

Each Sunday there will be a talk, followed by resources delivered through Small Groups across the city during the week. If you’re not able to make it to a Small Group, you can watch the follow-on videos on your own, with family, or with friends. These will be released each Sunday at https://leicestervineyard.org/practicingtheway.

On Sunday we explored Psalm 84 and discovered that one day in God’s presence outweighs a thousand elsewhere. Peter reminded us that even the sparrow finds home at God’s altar—and so do we.

The psalmist’s longing teaches us that worship isn’t about becoming strong enough to stop needing God. It’s about discovering we need him all the way through. When we say yes to Jesus, everything changes.

On Sunday we wrapped up our Leicester Vineyard series on values with Rosemary exploring prayer - the heartbeat of everything we do. We discovered that prayer isn’t about pleading our case—it’s stepping into the authority Jesus gives us, empowered by the Holy Spirit living inside us.

You are salt and light. You’re a change agent just by showing up. This week pray for someone or a situation, standing in the gap between what is and what God desires. Watch what happens.
