Tahajjud: The Hour When Du'as Are Answered
While the world sleeps in total stillness, Allah descends to the lowest heaven, inviting you to ask for anything you need. The prayer prayed at Tahajjud is like an arrow that never misses its target.
Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said,
يَنْزِلُ رَبُّنَا تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى كُلَّ لَيْلَةٍ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ الدُّنْيَا حِينَ يَبْقَى ثُلُثُ اللَّيْلِ الآخِرُ يَقُولُ مَنْ يَدْعُونِي فَأَسْتَجِيبَ لَهُ مَنْ يَسْأَلُنِي فَأُعْطِيَهُ مَنْ يَسْتَغْفِرُنِي فَأَغْفرَ لَهُ
"Our Lord, the Blessed and Exalted, descends every night to the nearest heaven when the last third of the night remains, saying: 'Who is calling upon Me, that I may respond to him? Who is asking of Me, that I may give him? Who is seeking My forgiveness, that I may forgive him?'"
